Columbia Women's Sandy River Cargo Short

Re. the fit - people are saying different things. I am 5'3" and 142 lbs. I usually wear a L or 12. I first bought the Large but the shorts were very baggy underneath the slightly too loose waistband. Then I ordered the Medium and sent back the Large. The fit is slightly awkward with the waist being a little tighter than I wished to get the seat and legs to be the right size. I am ditching the belt. I love the appearance with the pockets and contrasting top stitching. Quick dry fabric will be a boon for my upcoming vacation and camping.

These are perfect for summertime. My wife uses them on hikes, around the garden, and even work. She absolutely loves them.

I bought these for my vacation. Wore them white water rafting, they were perfect and dried quickly. Also comfy for everyday wear and you could dress them up a bit. I bought an xl but could definitely gotten an lrg. Just wanted to make sure they weren’t to tight sitting for a 14 hour car ride.

I live in Florida and I work on a food truck. It's just always hot and any little thing that contributes to the hot is just unbearable. These shorts are perfect for this oppressive heat and I will keep ordering spares so that I always have them ready to go.I wear an xl in these shorts. They aren't tight, they aren't loud, they have fantastic little pockets on the front and deep (mesh lined) side pockets. The only thing I wish could be different is that I wish they had back pockets but I love these shorts and would 100% recommend them.

This is the second pair of shorts I've purchased of this brand and style. I typically wear a size medium so that is what I purchased and they both fit perfectly. The material is very light weight and comfortable.

These shorts are okaaaaaay, useable but not great. I got the large, as I’m usually a size 6-8 and since they come with a belt I thought that would be safer. The waist and legs fit pretty well, and the belt is pretty good! The weird part is the crotch area, it’s super short so when I pull them up to my waist it gives this horrible weird camel toe lol. It’s like the crotch is made too short for the size of the shorts. The material is cheap but comfortable enough. The crotch thing makes them really hard to wear though.

Love the fit and the length which is ~ 2" above my knee. I wish the "undershorts" were a bit longer.

Good quality and I like how they’re not too long. However, they’re not flattering. Square looking, no shape. They’re ok but not worth the price for being just ok. I returned them.

Good short, just a little on the larger medium size, baggy on me, but i used them anyways because the material is very lightweight and on the day of our hike it was very hot!

These shorts are breathable and comfortable! Love the pockets on them as well!
