Pictures do no justice for this trimmer! The functionality design is amazing. It is easy to use with arthritis which it makes it easy for me to trim all of my herbs, cleaning is simple, excellent quality, the design of this Trimmer make is so simple to trim bulk verses trimming everything by hand. One use took hours away from trimming. Awesome Value for the money!

Good with an easy modification
The blade distance is adjustable but the closest distance to the grate is 1/4-3/8" range, leaving a lot of material that would need manual touching up on every bud.. To resolve this and get a good, tight trim job, you can remove the gear drive and place 2 washers in between the 4 screws and the base making the blade come up 1/8" or more so you get a sweet trim job without damaging any trichomes. You can add or take away washers with the idea being to get the blade as close to the grate as possible without it hitting the support ribs. You will have to touch up about 10% of the bugger buds and the rest is perfect as is. At 1/4 lb. at a time, I can do a full pound in 20 minutes.

That it has the loudest screeching noise I have ever heard and is gonna catch on fire
The media could not be loaded. I contacted the seller due to this high screeching noise, which they tell me is normal and want to give me $10 back for the inconvenience.. what am I supposed to do with $10 when the $300 machine catches fire. Then I will have to sue and go through the courts. All I ask, is they replace the one part that spins and is squeaking I do not want to return the machine. I just want a replacement part. I will be calling my credit card in the morning to dispute discharge. If I do not get a reasonable response from the customer support team at VEVOR.. I will be sure to update this review if they are willing to send me the replacement part. I should not have to go out of my way to send this back. It is very large and cumbersome. I have a disability and cannot carry this. Like I just said if I do not get an acceptable response by the morning on Monday, I will call my credit card company and dispute the charge and throw this thing in the trash.

supplied set up is ineffective as a trimmer
This is my second trimmer such as this. The first one I had for 5 years and was getting old so I was replacing it with this model. (The 19 inch spinning model)Upon set up it all seemed well enough. Once I started trimming I noticed as compared to the older model that this one only has two cutting blades instead of three. The blades were attached using round headed screws that keep the blades from touching the sheering grate. This does not trim the buds well at all. I will need to replace these mounting screws with the pan head screws it should have come with so that hopefully it will cut properly. In the mean time I have gone back to my 5 year old maching until such time as I can find and install the blade screws properly. One other thing that I noticed was that the motor when on the top level of 3 is about the same as my older machine on 2. So less power along with less cutting blades will surly mean longer batch cutting times.
