Could pay three times as much easy for something of comprable value. I have this in my little neighborhood gym so it gets a good amount of use and it's holding up very well. Assembly was a little annoying but all these machines are. If you don't have a good set of tools for this kind of stuff I would invest in them. The machine works great - much better than using a barbell as you get way more range of motion - has a spot for both plates or bands which is nice, and is comfortable.

Wow!! I had used a very expensive hip thrust machine in a hotel gym. I loved it but wasn't going to spend 3k on a machine. I have a large well stocked gym but this was the last piece to the equipment I needed and coveted. I had brought a Velcro strap device for dumbbells on Amazon that worked well enough, but was not great. I saw this and went online and found a gentleman who had the same device in his home gym. He explained the pros and cons and I was sold. The shipping was quick. I missed a sale on prime day by a day::((. The unit is sturdy and well designed. It took my husband the better part of the day to assemble it. Of note, this machine does have a large footprint and we had to find an area in our gym that would accommodate it. It is not the ideal spot(hard to manuever in and out of it) since we had to place it against an exterior wall/window. That would be the biggest drawback of this unit. I love this machine and it works exactly as expected. The first few days have definitely kicked my butt, as expected. No pain, no gain. This machine is awesome! On a side note, the machine also allows for you to use the footplate as a slant board. I have started doing dumb bell squats on it. Very sturdy and no foot slippage on the incline.

Product has great price and is well built. Two important notes for individuals under 6 ft in height: 1) To help get into proper position try using a balance / Airex pad to increase height of the seat pad. 2) For correct foot placement the metal foot plate is positioned a little too far out. Placing some stacked wood planks until flush with inside of foot plate helps. This allows your feet to be closer to your body without heels hanging off footplate. Much easier to achieve a vertical shin position at top of hip thrust.

Machine has been great, but the instructions to build it were a little rough. Recommend using your own tools. I’m 6’2 and weigh 220 and have been able to use the machine without issue.

Love this thing! Assembly was straightforward , no issues. It’s a comfortable setup, I feel well positioned and can really feel my glutes engaging. Would have given it 5 stars but there’s a funky smell coming off the bar pad, kinda like cod liver oil. Was hoping it would dissipate but after a month it’s still as strong as ever. Not sure what can be done, it must be the foam that was used. Other than that it’s a good value, sold & well built.

Now that I have a couple of workouts in with this hip thruster I absolutely love it! The product arrived in good condition as it was well packed. The assembly was straight forward with easy to understand diagrams and illustrations. The gauge of metal is right for a home gym or light commercial use, some the small details were impressive like the zerk fittings on the main bearings. I will say that my only small gripe is that my height 6'2" causes the locking bar to press rather snug against me while I am getting in to position, an allowance for taller people would have been great. I am looking forward to years of service from this well built and robust piece of equipment, well worth the price.

Works very well, assembly was fairly easy just make sure you do it in order.

This equipment is not suitable for an adult man. It seems to be built for a female. There is no way a man can fit between the bar and the seat due to the back pad size and position. I ordered a different product that was designed to adjust for body size.
