Great little PC - can put a GPU in it
The ratings on this are artificially low because mostly it's people complaining about these not being new - however I never expected new at this price for this item - it's 2+ year old system that retailed at over $1000 - they're not really available new anymore, especially not for under $400. This is a good price for this model in this "used, very good" condition.I came across this particular model as I was looking for a "living room PC" - my main requirement was that it can take 3 NVME drives, but this has the added bonus of fitting a GPU - though note the size requirement of 202mm (8"). I found one for $300 that fits - though it's very tight due to the wires, I was able to get it in and the performance is great! For the record it's this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0985X2YR1UPDATE: I have since installed Kubuntu on here, and was having trouble getting good performance with the Nvidia 3060 - so instead I swapped in a Sapphire RTX6600 which was recommended by another friend who does a lot of Liunux gaming (the 3060 went into an older desktop so I can use it to play around with AI). The Sapphire card can be found used for around $150 - so with this card and this PC, you can have a very nice living room PC that can play mid-level games for under $500.I bought the 512 GB / 8 GB setup since it was cheaper - and immediately replaced with a 2 TB NVME (which I already had) / 32 GB of RAM https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BGZEVHUNOTE: according to the specs, if you put 32 GB or less of RAM you can use 2666 MHz, but if you go for 64 GB, it will only be 2400 MHz.I also have 2 4 TB NVME drives I use for data storage that I put in it. There were no issues with the drives - everything showed up when I installed Windows. One other (probably minor) note - according to the specs, if you use the 3rd NVME slot, it will reduce the PCIe from 16x to 8x, however from what I've read, this isn't likely to be a major impact.I have 2 minor complaints.1) it's a pain to disassemble, especially to get the 2nd NVME screw holder moved from the default 110mm to the 80mm position - but fortunately this is a one-time annoyance.2) the airflow isn't great (though sort of expected) - the fan for the CPU will be trapped behind the GPU. I put a portable fan on top which definitely helps with the airflow. 90mm is the size you want. You can see the fan for reference, and also compare the size to a PS5

Bad luck or bad product?
After less than 5 month of light use the NUC does not turn on. Trying to get support is so difficult. The chat with the usual "AI" assistance is useless, and when I asked to chat with a live agent, after waiting 10 or more minutes, there came out a "sorry try again, there is no agent to assist you". My NUC has a manufacturer warranty up to January 2026 but it seems that they do something to stop you from creating a Warranty Ticket online. A complete frustration.

Great, maybe I was lucky?
Not dismissing all the prior reviews but, mine was sealed in the box, not that I personally care about that. Most important it works great, no issues at all. Using it to run a Plex server and NAS and works perfect.

Fast delivery. Product as advertised.
Arrived in original packaging. Brand new condition exactly as advertised. If you are looking for bios updates you have to search the model number of the compute module NUC9i7QNB not the NUC kit model number. The updates are on the Asus site as they have taken over the NUC line from Intel. I downloaded and installed the latest bios with no issues. Installed an AMD RX gpu and am off and running...

Not exactly 'Like New'
Despite of item description NUC was arrived with broken internal bluetooth connector. Not such an issue because its not planned to be used. Much worse that PSU fan produces high frequency noise. Seller could be more accurate with item description
