Easy set up if you can look at pictures and put together according to diagrams. Thought the hydraulic piece was broken but seems it needs the weight of the mattress to compress correctly. The frame is light but durable so far.

Want a kid to clean their room fast, get them this bed and tell them not to store things under it! Its a heavy box so be prepared. UPS will hate you! good quality but bc of the weight defiantly check all the parts are good. We had a panel that was slightly damaged in transit. Not enough to fuss over it but it could have been. My kid loves it yours will too.

Changing to a king bed in a small bedroom and wanted a bed frame to make the most use of the space under the bed. This bed frame is perfect blend of those needs and it's got some style and nice features too. And on Black Friday it was at a great price!I bought the black color which goes great with the rest of my bedroom furnishings that are also dark tones. The wood grain showing through and overall finish of the bed looks very nice and I hope it holds up well. Having the shelf in the headboard and the charging station is something that I never knew I needed but wow is it convenient! And the open frame access to the rear of the bed where the wall outlet is usually found is handy too though it means you have to keep any cables organized.For those who are single, the box is H E A V Y, you will probably need help to wrangle it wherever you are planning to set it up and at a few points in the assembly process. There are of course quite a few parts but all were clearly marked, complete in inventory and arrived with no damage. Pay careful attention to the instructions and the orientation of the parts and use better tools than they send for assembly and all will go well.Once assembled, mattress added and bed made, there is zero noise when you lay down on the bed. And for those who may be "active" sleepers or who might practice endurance maneuvers with a partner also no noises from the bed ;-)The lift mechanism makes getting to the storage a breeze though I wish the listing for the frame indicated max weight of the mattress supported. The mattress I ordered is a thick hybrid coil and foam and it weighs around 140 lbs and it is too much for the lift mechanism to keep aloft. Problem solved by keeping a custom cut and notched length of 1x4 tucked inside the end of the bed to use as a prop. Maybe there are stronger cylinders available that are up to the task which is on my to do list to investigate.Definitely recommend this bed frame and would purchase again. Actually considering doing so for a queen frame to put under my old mattress in the spare room. Maybe next Black Friday.

30 minutes? Uhh...no, but not hard either. The bed goes together easily, and I was pleasantly surprised that the holes were all drilled properly, which anyone who has put together furniture like this before can appreciate. The wood is a laminate and pretty thin, but for the price, that is to be expected. It looks good though. The lift mechanism picked up this 80lb mattress with ease. A couple hints putting it together...if you have your own tools, use them. A proper allan head or even better the allan head 'T' wrenches would have made this go a LOT faster. The supplied one is fine, but it is a combo screwdriver which makes it a little harder to get the bolts to turn in the tighter spots. The other tip is when installing the pistons, leave the nuts a touch loose...rookie mistake on that one.Other than using a nicer wood, they could make a huge improvement on this by just having a little cross-bracing. The whole thing is kind of 'wobbly' when the mattress is up and can come out of square really easily. It is something I will probably try to upgrade myself.So, for the price, it absolutely deserves 5 starts, but it could be just a little better.

Bed frame is actually great, nothing came damaged and it looks nice. Storage area is shallower than I expected but I also should’ve taken a tape measurer and looked for myself how shallow it’d be before buying as it does have dimensions on the product details. My biggest issue is the missing outlet for the headboard. It came without the outlet so now I just have a hole in the headboard. Fairly disappointed as a bed frame without an outlet would’ve been cheaper.

We've had this need for a few months now and it works great! We have enjoyed having easy options to plug in our electronics and bedside lamps.We utilized the storage underneath for Christmas presents this last year and that was great. Kept the kids out as we haven't revealed that option to them yet.
