Wow! This is an amazing device, works as described. I could hear my "broadcast" as far away as eight blocks. My music was clear, crisp and had a good volume. I had previously purchased a "Whole House Transmitter." It didn't work at all, sent it back and got the BaseWish. I've been playing Christmas music for my entire subdivision. I'm happy, wife is happy and neighbors are happy.

Excellent at low power (legal-ish) setting for my outside Christmas lights show.

I am using this for my mr christmas lights and sounds display. When I first hooked it up I could not get ridn of the horrible static. But I noticed if I held my hand on the metal part of the antenna the static would go away. I was thinking it was a grounding issue. Long story short I grabbed some aluminum foil and wrapped it around the metal part no more static. I have it inside my house, I can't say it works a 1/4 mile away but I will say it does work right before you get to my house and it is clear as can be in the car. The unit gets warm but not hot. Very nice unit just hope it lasts.

I restore old radios for a hobby need to be able to broadcast to the restored radios throughout our house, garage, and deck. I've tried three other FM broadcasters, and this unit surpasses all the others in three important areas: simplicity of tuning and setup, range, and sound quality. The included antenna outperforms any of the built-in or dangling wire antennas that come with other transmitters. As other reviewers have pointed out, one must take care in setting the audio levels--but that is true of all AM and FM transmitters. And once you have determined the best combination of settings on the transmitter and on the signal source (iPod, MP3 player, tablet, phone, etc.) it is a "set and forget" adjustment that should not need much tweaking. Most importantly of all, the quality of the broadcast signal is indistinguishable from commercial over-the-air FM broadcasts. The sound quality is outstanding. The unit is worth the price especially in light of it coming with such an efficient antenna and hefty power supply.

This transmitter was a big disappointment. The product claims are misleading—it advertises multiple power modes, but there’s no way to actually switch them, which makes that feature completely useless. The only thing it really has is an AUX input, and that alone does not justify the high price. The sound quality is nothing special, the build feels cheap despite the fancy description, and it lacks any modern or practical features that would make it worth the cost. For what’s being charged, you’d expect more versatility, but instead it’s bare minimum. Honestly, it’s overpriced, underdelivers, and not worth buying.

Works as it says. Thats saying a lot these days. I hook this up with my Christmas lights. Really good reception.

This works so much better then I thought it would. Took a little bit of experimenting with the volume. But once we got it works perfect.

Third one, they operate as advertised for about 2+/- years, then mine fail. Operated 24/7/365.
