I recently set up three monitors with my Laptop, which has only three USB ports plus one HDMI port. To accommodate my multiple external SSDs, keyboard and mouse, and a USB-powered speaker, I needed a compact and versatile USB hub that would also support an additional monitor.I found that the ACASIS hub effectively meets my requirements. One particularly helpful feature is its 4-foot connection cable, which allows for greater flexibility in positioning the hub on my desk. I appreciate not having to deal with the clutter that comes from shorter cords.Overall, I enjoy a seamless daily setup. The hub has performed reliably, with no issues so far. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a practical solution to expand their connectivity options.

Have not used for video but everything else works good.

Starting with a warning. If you plan to use USB-C headphones, this may not work for you. When plugging in USB-C Apple EarPods into the data port, I got a few moments of perfect audio followed by a deafening static noise that would only go away after unplugging and replugging. I thought it was a defective unit, but experience the same behavior with the replacement I ordered.Otherwise it works great for the price. It feels super light and plasticy, but performs as advertised. I just hope it lasts. My Dell Latitude doesn’t like most third part my charges due to low power, but I’ve had no such issues with this one.I keep my laptop on a shelf a foot or two from my desk, so the extra length is perfect for cleaning up my workspace.Would buy again.

Excellent Quality.

This hub doesn’t have proper safety circuitry and is a danger to your electronics. It worked great during the week I used it, but one day, I plugged the USB-C power cable into the data port instead of the USB-PD port, and it killed my almost-new iPhone 16 Pro. It damaged something on the main board and I had to get it replaced at the Apple Store - around $700 without warranty. Luckily, I’m within the warranty so it was free, but I’m returning this hub back and urging others to be very careful of which port you’re plugging into.

I was hoping to use this as an extended for my Anker doc, which has ethernet, 2 HDMI ports and a few USB A ports. My laptop is not near me when in my home office (on shelf above my monitors) and I have to unplug it to make my monitors turn on after being in sleep mode.Due to this, I cannot use this device to extend the USB C port to me near me. I tried both of the USB C ports on this and they did not allow my Anker doc to display anything. The ethernet did not work either. I was really hoping this worked for my situation. A basic USB C extension cable was the trick.Not sure if this was a returned item and sold as new. The box lid was crumpled like it had been opened and re-shrink wrapped and sold as new. If the seller was the one to do this, it made it look used. The small plastic cosmetic saver bag around the main device was not in a good NEW looking shape as well.
