Very nice
The brand that I order to cover our generator (which is.excellent) did not have the size that I wanted to cover a 12000 BTU window conditioner which I wanted to store on the deck. I bought this one instead and I am very happy with my purchase. This seems to be very well made out of a heavy material. It was important that the measurements be accurate. They were perfect. I covered the air conditioner and the little rolling cart it was on perfectly. We have high winds, snow, rain, and lots of sun (California mountains). It fits very well. I have to replace the outside covers every 2-3 years. This one is so nice, it might make it five or more in the. I will be buying these covers in the future.

It survived hurricane Ian
I bought this for my neighbor whose generator sits on his back porch with no protection from the weather. It covers the generator just fine and the Velcro straps kept the cover secure through the wind and rain from the storm with the gennie staying dry. Winter is coming and I guess we'll see how it holds up in the cold temps with snow and ice. Will update in the spring.

Protect your generator when not in use.
Perfect fit for our generator to help keep it clean. We store our generator in the barn so things do get covered with dirt blowing out of the stalls. If your generator is not stored in an enclosed space this may be what you need.

Good Cover
This seems to be made well and is fairly thick, but not too heavy. My only complaint is the strap along the bottom will not shorten up enough to tighten around the base of my generator (9000IU). I would highly advise putting a dryer sheet under the cover to keep mice away while being stored. A mouse made a little nest in my cover while I was using the generator for a couple weeks and dryer sheets will keep them away.If you are looking for a good generator cover, this should work for you.

It fits and it feels heavy quality.
Bought this for my duromax 13000 generator and it’s fits. Actually it has more room than I thought. Was on the fence wasn’t sure it was going to fit. Now out of the garage and on the side of the house. Let’s see how it holds up with the elements in the Northeast. I had a bungee cord so I put it on felt a little loose.

True to size - Good purchase
Perfect fit for my Troy-Bilt XP portable generator with plenty of velcro, clasps, and pull strings. I don't store it outside so not sure about being waterproof but I have no reason to doubt that it is because of the fit and material. The advertised sizes and pictures are exactly what I received and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Keeps the generator dry
Was slightly too big for our generator but we make it work. Has kept it dry for the whole of winter and the rainy season

Well made, blend in with the color of your porch and a breeze for regular startup maintenance.
Very nice quality and well made. The gray color is almost a perfect match for that "Porch enamel outside/inside" paint they sell in hardware stores. So if your generator is like mine, chained to a concrete pillar and bolted on my porch, this shield will help it blend with your porch.Mine did not fit exactly as my generator is 27 inches long and the shield is 26. I don't blame the shield. I believe it is a marketing from my generator manufacturer so I will be obliged to buy their proprietary products. But even then the shield fit well enough to cover my generator. It just doesn't close completely. I might sew an extension to cover the gap.Taking about sewing, I am pretty handy with my sewing machine and I was initially thinking of making my own shield. When I checked the material I would have needed, It would have cost me well over $60 just for the material. So this shield is a real saving. Also one other main advantages of this shield is; it is very easy to remove. This is very important for regular start up maintenance. Prior to have that shield, I did made many years ago a wooden box made out of 3/4 inch plywood. It was doing a great job at protecting and hiding the generator, but it was a bear to remove. That box must have weight about 60 pounds and was very unwieldy to handle. The end result is that I neglected my regular startup maintenance. I could go 2 or 3 months between startup maintenance. The end result is my generator was very hard to start. A good thing I have one of the best generator available (H...da). Nevertheless, last winter the power went off and I had a very hard time to get it started. With this shield, It is a breeze to take it off the generator. This way you don't have any excuses for not doing your weekly startup routine. You will be glad you did them when a real emergency will happen in subzero freezing conditions. If this review helped you, please consider clicking the thumbs up button. Thank you.

Seems to be good quality
I am using the cover for my Hitachi 4000/4900 backup power unit.. It seems good quality material. I like the tabs that you can use to connect it the metal pipes of the machine. This should alleviate any problems with strong winds. I am spending lots of money on the power unit and the connections into my house. Seems like the small cost of the cover is money well spent.

It fits...
I have an older outdoor A/C unit that is an odd size, so conventional a/c covers would not fit, but this cover does. As we are not into a Canadian winter yet, not sure how it will stand up, but by the look & feel of it, all should be good. Will update in the spring.
