Check the Blade before giving to a new Quilter
I am a seasoned quilter and thought what a great gift for a new quilter just starting out. The blade on the cutter was duller than my dullest rotary blade. Dull blades are more dangerous than sharp one because you add more force to cut properly. This extra force added to unexperienced quilters is a disastor waiting to happen. The pieces below the green cutter is how poorly it cut, had to tape it in spots to show you how much is skipped on a 2" piece of fabric. The slices below the white cutter, my dull blade but still sharper than Drizt, NO skipping at all.If Dritz is going to put out a product like this at least put in a GOOD QUALITY BLADE for that beginner.

Ok product.. not the best but it does work.
Got this for a friend who quilts. The cutter is okay but there are better ones on the market. Guess it's okay for what I paid.

Low quality
The cutter doesn't cut well. The ruler is OK, though longer would be more useful (but I knew the size when I ordered it). The book is OK.
