These are exactly what I needed to get started growing sprouts. They work great for adding water without making a mess and they drain without any of the little seeds escaping. They clean up easily once the sprouting process is complete. They come with directions that are clear and easy to follow. All you need to do is grab a wide mouth Mason Jar, I used a quart sized jar, some sprouting seeds, add water and you are on your way to adding more nutrients to your diet. These are made of high quality, sturdy material and i love colors. I am beyond satisfied with this purchase.

I absolutely love these for sprouts! They work better than any other thing I’ve tried and much cleaner. No rust or pinching myself cleaning metal screen. They stand up on end while draining and drain quickly. I bought 3 sets. I wish they had them in the colors of the Rainbow 🌈 but I’m grateful for these

I sprout seeds (mostly lentils and broccoli) every day for my morning stir fry, so I wanted to use something better on my mason jars. I thought I would give these a try, and I love them. Two came in the box, so I can have two jars going at different stages at a time. They work great, although I haven't tried them on very tiny seeds; the broccoli seeds are the smallest I generally use. Water goes through the lid easily to give the seeds their daily flush/bath and the drains out just as easily. The lids have straight edges so when I rest the jars on their sides, they stay in the orientation I place them, which is a boon when sprouting seeds. The lids make everything so much easier. I just scoop a few tablespoons of seeds into a jar, cover the seeds with water, screw on a lid and let it sit overnight. Then I dump out the water through the lid, add more water and swish it around, drain the water through the lid, then shake the jar a little to distribute the seeds and lay the bottle on its side. Then it is just a matter of adding more water each morning, swishing it around, draining it through the lid, giving it a little shake to distribute the seeds and putting the jar back down on its side. In a couple of days, I have a fresh batch of sprouts. The lids are easy to clean between batches, and I have not had a problem with sprouts entwined in the mesh like I did with some of the older lids/methods I tried. I love these lids.

Works great easy to use and drain seeds

Great for decanting your water kefir, easy to screw on and pour the liquid without any spills. Also great for sprouting. The tabs help elevate the sprouts to keep them from swimming in water. I deducted a star because I wish the lids were 100% silicone instead of plastic, but the product works really well.

This is a second set of these sprouting lids I purchased. Last set was bought 2-3 years ago and has held up quite well. It's nice that I can use my own Mason wide mouth jars and turn them into sprouting kit with these lids. I'm getting the second set for my 11 year old grandson who loves the mixed sprouts. He is interested in growing his own! At first I thought the price was high for 2 plastic lids, but compared to store bought sprouts, home grown ones are just so much better. I like that I can choose different Mason jars for different amounts of sprouts. Growth rates seem better during warmer months and I tend to get less sprouts for the same amount of seeds. I suspect this is just weather related and not the fault of the jars.

Really pleased with these lids. I am now growing sprouts for my chickens, who love them. The pro cess is simple and less messy than any other way I've tried.

Works well just wetting the seeds 2 times/day, shaking the water out and letting the lie on the counter. I've sprouted broccoli seeds and mong dahl.

These work very well for sprouting broccoli seeds, and I assume all other types of seeds as well. No complaints.

Love these! Although I think I got the size wrong, so only fits on one of my jars but still perfect quality and very practical. 2 rounds of sprouting complete already!

Great system. Easy to use. Depending on the seeds, there is a marginal loss of seeds down the drain with the initial rinse which makes sense as they are tiny and dry. After first rinse none came through. I’ve sprouted seeds over the years and this is definitely the best and user friendliest system! 🙏🏻
