Works Great, Starts Easy
Works great and so far, starts with relative ease (don't let pressure build up in the handle when starting). The only thing I question is the rated pressure, it seems more like 2800 - 3000 PSI not 3400. Regardless, it gets the job done at a fair price.

What a machine!
I have an old 2.5K PSI Gas Pressure washer (CHINA) that has been retired. When I first started looking for a replacement pressure washer all I can say is which one! So many repackage pressure washers from the same Mfg. (engine and pump) other than maybe the frame style that all seem to be solely made in China and may be assembled in the USA.For the Pressure Pump, who really knows from whom in China is making them at what quality of parts? I can across Simpson early on in my never-ending search for a good fit for me. I came back with my thoughts this Mfg. (SIMPSON) I could trust if I ever need some type of dependable customer service. Which is my best guess!As for the pressure washer, I ended up selecting; MS61085 MegaShot 3400 PSI Gas Pressure Washer, 2.5 GPM, Kohler SH270 Engine. Looking at both PSI / Rate this model was a good fit and price. I could have chosen the Simpson-made Engine but I picked the Kohler after doing my research. The Honda was my second choice but for my home use and the > ~ $100 cost wasn’t worth it, another good fit.After setting up the machine (oil and water attached) I could not believe it, it took less than a full pull to start the engine, a WOW Factor!As for the break-in period which is not at all listed in the manuals, if it is, I didn’t find that information which should have been upfront in bold text. In my experience with gas power generators, those (the smarter sellers) recommend about five hours of lite loads and then a complete oil change which I’m in the process in completing. I also added a Magnetic oil dipstick with Magicalmai Inductive Hour Meter.Okay, what I see as a problem with a future issue with the Kohler engine. For the most part the Mfg. did seem of done a good job with the majority of the engine assembly, but take a look a close look at both choke and gas (on-off) valve assembly all made from plastic. I bet this will be a problem!So, I’m very happy with the price and performance for a home unit, but if this going to be a professional used pressure and washer I would stay with this Mfg. and simply move up to the next level of models.

Easy to start
The media could not be loaded. Well made and easy to assemble, start and move. (The oil is shipped with it. It’s up to you to add it to the machine.). It does everything I need it to do. Pressure washed my driveway and the stairs to my sunroom prior to painting. It worked fabulously! Well worth the price. My friend loved it so much, he’s buying one for his wife!

Works great but oil dosent look so good
The media could not be loaded. It has good power and definetly gets the job done. Ive used it to clean a patio and my truck and it works great, but there is one pretty big issue. I drained the oil for the first time and you can see in the video it has a lot of metal shavings and bits in it. This was only after 5 hours of use per the manuals instruction. I like this pressure washer for what i got it for and it works great, but lets just say that I'm very glad i got the 2 year warrenty for it because i would be suprised if it made it longer than that. Overall i think its a good pressure washer performance wise but i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. It is also possible that i got a faulty engine but im not sure.

UPDATEDOA (dead on arrival) Engine is fine, but the Pump is defective, and I can't return or get a refund!!!!!Replacement sent out to me once received i will update again for machine

The Operation of My New Washer
I just brought my new pressure washer and the way it is, makes it easier for me to push and lay it down on the 3rd leg. I’ve owned a upright washer gas powered after 2 years it broke down. It didn’t come with a soap container, but I brought a attachment container. All in all I’m happy with my new Machine.
