Happy Hydro 7 Mil UV Treated Light Proof Panda Film for Grow Rooms and Greenhouses (10’ x 25’)

I purchased this product to use for making a custom grow tent/area. I wanted something thick enough to handle brass grommets and this product is perfect. I think of it more as a fabric than a film due to the thickness and work-ability.To make my grow room I folded over about three inches and taped it in place with 2" Gorilla duct tape. Then used 1/2" brass grommets, which I purchased in a kit on Amazon, spaced at about 16" intervals. I attached 2x4s to the ceiling of my grow room and used roofing nails to hang the fabric using the installed gromments. Using this method I was able to setup a small space for when the plants were just seedlings and expanded the area as the plants grew larger. By overlapping the fabric I created a door that I open by just unhooking the fabric from one nail and hanging it back on another nail giving me enough room to enter. I water 2 or 3 times a day going through this process and the fabric has held up well with no ripping or tearing. I've taped it to the walls and door frames with the Gorilla tape too and when making adjustments the tape came off with no problems. I don't know it that is a testament to the quality of the tape or the fabric, but I suspect thinner lower quality fabric would tear under this stress.I used some the extra fabric as a floor cover holding it in place with the same duct tape to the tiled floor in the room. It helps with spills and cleans up easily. My plants are in 5 gallon grow bags on 18" plastic saucers, so they are fairly heavy, and I slide them around a lot while watering and just repositioning and the fabric has held up well with hardly any noticeable scratching or rips.It cuts very easily with scissors by just sliding them through the fabric but does not easily tear even when you try to tear it. I can't say enough positive things about this product. I am planning to purchase another sheet just in case they stop selling it. I suspect at some point it will need replacement, but it appears that will be a few years from now.It blocks the light well only slightly penetrating the fabric with three 1500 watt LEDs inside a 4x6 room. As far as reflection goes I suppose you can find something more reflective, but it is noticeably more reflective than the flat white walls that are part of the grow space. If I were to cover the walls, and I may at some point, I might buy something else that is less expensive but more reflective only because durability would not be a concern. But if you need a durable fabric for making your own grow space I highly recommend this product. What you might lose in reflection, which is minor in my opinion, you gain in durability and, I suspect, longevity. Time will tell.Update December 2019I have had this product hanging now for almost a year and it continues to hold up very well. I am purchasing more to redo the floor. It has held up okay except for right inside the door which gets a lot more traffic and general abuse, but it's still in good shape. Just some scuff marks and a few holes from me damaging it in some way, but still fine. I am replacing it since I've moved things a round a few times and did some expansion and have some taped joints on the floor. I used a good quality white duct tape so the joints look solid enough but they are weak points, along with the holes, for water to get under and I have spilled water more than a few times. Plus it's wavy in some places and not lying flat. So I want to pull it out and replace it all with new fabric in one solid piece with no joints. It will also allow me to see if there has been any water damage to the floor underneath which is a high quality thick stick on tile.Other than that very happy with the durability of this product. Worth every cent.

No need to search any longer, this product is the one if you’re trying to achieve blocking out sunlight without having to double layer material!! Strong, sturdy and very easy to adjust and make precise cuts! Highly recommended!!!

Thick and does the job.

The material is very thick and sturdy and very nice to work with. I thought the white would reflect light better but that’s my only complaint.

The thicker plastic is very durable and easy to work with. White inside reflects light well. (great for grow room gardeners) Cuts easily with scissors but more resistant to tear.

I chose this not only for the large dimensions but the extra thickness as well. Should be a great light barrier for my needs.

A little hard to handle at 10' x 10', but that's what makes it so durable. Once you cut it to size, it's great to work with.

I use this to line the walls and ceiling of a small room housing my therapy pool. It makes the room very bright, plus it's easy to wipe clean, and if and when that time comes it will be easy to replace. For this price nothing else could come even close to serve the same purpose.
