We got these as matching bedside lights. They were fairly easy to assemble, just make sure you pulled the electrical cord tightly all the way down to secure the neck of the lamp. The felt circle that sits on the bottom was just slightly too small to attached to the rim but we didn't plan to move it often so it wasn't a big deal. The metal on the light can get hot, and we have tried 3 different 40 watt bulbs to see if that would change the heat but I think it simply comes down to the metal shade. We love the style of the light and it works perfectly for the decor of our room. We like the length of the cord and the toggle switch makes it easy to shut off when falling asleep.

This light is small but very cool. I love the look! The only drawback is that it will not work when plugged into an outlet that is connected to a wall switch. The lamp is touch activated and must be touched (regardless of being wired to a switch) to turn on. In most cases, that’s probably fine for people’s needs. In our case, I was slightly bummed because I would have liked for it to work with the outlet. Still, it’s a great piece. Would recommend.

I'm obsessed with this lamp! so beautiful! I strongly recommend to find a vintage light bulb, with the white modern bulb, it simply doesn't look great! I would never use it for reading, because the bulb is completely exposed and it's way too bright. It's more like a piece of decor!

The lamp is pretty and looks great on my desk! It does seem sort of cheaply manufactured, there was a rather large crack in the plastic on the very bottom. The thing that brought my review down as the presence of strong chemical smelling sand(??) falling from either the packaging or inside the lamp itself. At first I just thought it was some sort of sand to add weight to the bottom but I'm not sure. After a lot dumped onto my stove, I shook the lamp and nothing else seemed to fall out of the crack. The sand had a VERY STRONG chemical smell. It smelled awful and concerned me because I have cats. The smell also stayed on my hands after washing. It eventually subsided.

this was super easy to assemble, and is really good quality for the money! love the gold &black, and the geometric lamp shade. such a fabulous addition to my daughters desk!

So happy with this purchase! I have been needing a bedside lamp and it is just so pretty and emits just enough light and love the black and gold industrial look! Definitely ordering again. Great quality and price!

The lamp itself is nice, but I ordered it somewhat impulsively because it was similar to another lamp I have and love. I have two main issues with this lamp however.1. Considering there’s no actual lampshade directing/softening the light, it really should be dimmable, and it’s not. You could get a smart bulb that you can dim through an app. But doe the pretty ones that is kind of pricey, and it would have been easier for the consumer if the lamp itself had a dimmer switch.2. The switch to turn it on and off is on the cord, and substantially far away from the lamp itself. So since I ordered 2, one for each bedside table, when you want to turn it on/off, instead of being able to do that by a switch located on the base of the lamp somewhere, you have to grab the cord, and pull it up about 2 feet to find the switch.So again, the lamps I purchased didn’t have any major issues, other than these 2 design flaws, so if those things won’t matter for where you want to put it, great, but I wouldn’t recommend this as a bedside lamp.

Stayed at Airbnb and they had this lamp. I thought my office needed a modern upgrade lamp. Airbnb had switch on the cord. To my shock and surprise I did not realize I ordered a touch lamp and love this feature. My 8 year daughter keeps hers next to her bed. Light has 3 levels of brightness and makes it perfect for my office and waking her up in morning.

Where can I buy an adapter to fit these lamps. I really like them but the plug doesn’t fit our electric sockets so I can’t try them
