The top section of the dress is navy and has a V-neck with an angled, off center cut. Both the V-neck and the off center cut are flattering for someone like me whose waistline is not yet very thin. The top part is loose and flowing, so it has a feminine feeling. The bottom part is a black pencil style skirt. Since it is such a contrast in style to the top, it adds to the illusion of greater height and a slim line. I wore this to my son’s wedding with an antique lapis lazuli necklace and several people had positive comments. But BE AWARE that the dress comes VERY wrinkly! Thankfully our hotel room provided a steamer—what a God send! My hips are shrinking with my food plan, but this dress was very flattering to my shrinking waist and hips.

I like the dress, but the 2XL is a little snug in the hips, but I refuse to go to the next size because it may be a little big. I'm in the process of losing weight so I expect it to loosen up soon.

I wore this dress for my future daughter n law’s bridal shower. Dress is very comfortable to wear. I got a lot of compliments on it. I’m 5’1” and found the v-neck very flattering while giving me the coverage I wanted. I alot of dresses show too much cleavage. Also liked how it covered my upper arms. My sister liked it so much on me, she borrowed it for a wedding 3 weeks later..

I was very impressed with the quick delivery of these dresses. I ordered 2, a large and a medium. The medium was too small but the large fit perfectly. The dress is very pretty and looked just as the picture. I was a little disappointed in the fabric of the dress. It is a stretchy knit similar to a tee shirt. The capelet is very thin and flows and is very nice. I am 5’4” tall and weigh 127. I bought this dress to wear to my granddaughters wedding and it is perfect for the grandmother of the bride. I returned the medium and returning was very easy.

When I took it out of the package the smell of Patchouli almost knocked me over. It had clearly been either tried on or worn before. I didn't even want to try it on. I also ordered the dress in black. That one I tried on. The style is flattering due to the chiffon overlay. The dress underneath is pretty form fitting, so best to wear with Spanx. The wine color was pretty, but I did send it back.

Love this dress. Going to wear it to my granddaughter's outdoor wedding. I usually wear a size small but got a medium and it is perfect, except for a bit too long. But that is easy to hem up.
