Daydream: Hannah Grace (Maple Hills, 3)

There are so many reasons why I love this book and I'll get to them in a minute, but his a warning from those thinking this will be like Icebreaker or Wildfire.... It is not!Icebreaker was fun, spicy and full of drama, Wildfire has as much fun, a little less spice and more personal drama. Daydream feels a lot more character driven, there's a lot less spice and way more character development. There isn't really drama, it's more Henry and Halle working through their own obstacles.That being said, this was my favourite in the series! I truly love both Halle and Henry, I have never read a book where both main represent so much of me while easily explaining parts of my personality that I find hard to express.Henry was everything I wanted him to be, he was sweet, and patient and unintentionally hilarious. Halle was so wholesome, and definitely a character who always sacrificed herself for others. This definitely was more of a slow burn book and as much as I love spice I still would have loved this book of it didn't have aspects of it because I was so invested in them, as friends and also as more. The found family element of these books continues and we get to see past characters we love as well as meeting new one side characters to fall in love with.

It was a delight to head back to Maple Hills for Halle and Henry's story. We've gotten to know Henry through the first two books, Icebreaker and Wildfire and so it was great to hear a boom dedicated to Henry.The author's note at the start of this book is important and gives good insight to how Henry behaves. The book is handled with care and it's a different experience reading about a character who is neurodivergent. We get a really good insight into how his brain works and how he feels. The author should be applauded for writing this character and I think this is a special book for that reason, hence why I have three special copies.Halle is absolutely perfect for Henry and I think that everyone can relate to Halle and how she tries to please everyone but often gets herself in tangles by signing up to do too much.Their relationship is beautiful to read about. It's not as spicy as the other other books but there is some spice as they navigate through their feelings. The pace of the book is also much slower than the others but this fits with both Henry and Halles characters and so it feels true to them.I really enjoyed their journey together and it's such a sweet and cute story and a great addition to the Maple Hills series. The title also suits this book perfectly. It's a beautiful love story.

I've read all the books in this series and loved each one of them ! you fall in love with all the side characters just as much as the main characters. in all the book they go over sensitive topics but each time it is so well written , loved how well henry was written in this , it was a lovely cute / steamy read and I definitely recommend

I liked this book a lot I loved hearing more about Henry as he was such a good character in the two previous books and Halle being a plus size girl was a bonus xx

I adored this book. I adored these characters and their story and it was a book that made me feel seen and heard. Halle and Henry were both so relatable in their own ways and this a very special book.This book has a different feel from the first two in the maple hill series but I think this is the point of the book.Hannah grace has a special way of writing that makes you feel so much and empathise with the characters and feel connected to them without having had the same experiences.It's such a fluffy and feel good book and had some really sweet and swoon worthy scenes scattered throughout. This series is like being reunited with old friends and powerful friendships and found family is so prominent in all of the books.

I really enjoyed the light heartedness of Henry and Halle’s story.The way that they developed their friendship before they turned into the relationship phase.Henry wants to help Halle with her experiences of life to give Halle insight and references for her book that she is writing whenever she has time, along side being made the “family organiser” and co parenting her siblings leaving her drained and stressed.The way they navigate Halle’s family high dependency, lack of life experience and not having friends. Henry’s mental health, social anxiety and burnout together is exceptional.I hope there’s going to be more coming in the series.

Loved this story! Hannah is great at writing and brings the characters to life. I enjoyed how Henry is so gentle and his love for Halle.

If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would. So cute and funny and ugh I loved this book

It's definitely the best book of the series. I read all three in order and as much as i enjoyed IceBreaker I can honestly say each book just kept getting better. Hannah's writing abilities grew with each book. This book. I didn't even know I needed Henrys story until I had it. And i also didn't realize home much I would relate to Henry either, im also undiagnosed and this really hit him. It was a beautiful story, with loveable characters and scenes that were brought to life with her descriptive writing. Halle was cute and I really enjoyed watching her break her own mold. Definitely my favorite book! Can't wait to see what Hannnah Grace does next ♥️

Quite boring, but the characters were likable

Loved Icebreaker and ofcourse had to get the next installment. It def is different then I expected but in the end it was a total daydream!
