This book felt like it was written for me, lovely characters with an interesting story. The book isn't afraid to be funny whilst still tackling difficult issues, would definitely recommend.

I loved this book and would highly recommend it. I don't read a lot of fiction these days, preferring non-fiction. Norie took me into the world of Joan and Jess and gently crafted their worlds together with tenderness, love and pain. I'll definitely be sending a few copies of this book to friends.

An easy read if a bit predictable in places. A little unrealistic in its expectations of an octogenarian taking so easily to the digital world - has anyone else tried to help older generations with an iPhone? Nonetheless, in this fast paced world, a little slower paced life might be a worthwhile pursuit.

A bit slow moving in the beginning, don’t put it down. When it takes off it’s like a fast moving train !Enjoy !

Very enjoyable. Wonderful concept of interaction between youth and age. Somewhat predictable about halfway through but that’s when “heartwarming “ becomes “all is right with the world “.

Happy, sad, loss, gains, new friends and old ones, new situations, love lost and found. This book has it all. Definitely an uplifting read!

This story took me a little while to get into but once I did I was hooked. I loved the duel points of views between Jess and Joan. And I’m always a sucker for letters in books. The book wrapped up rather quickly and I wish there would have been an epilogue.
