Gearlux Pineapple Ukulele Polyfoam Case - Black

I ordered this for my banjolele, hoping it would fit as just about every banjolele I've come across seems to have different dimensions. I didn't think it was going to work at first because the bout area didn't seem wide enough, but a bit of pressure on the outside head ring seems to have gouged or compressed the compartment edges enough to squeeze the banjolele in. I've not seen any tearing of the fabric nor any other damage, and there is enough space in the hollowed-out top for the bridge, so I'm very pleased. The tailstock is just a bit much for the zipper to get past, but it's only leaving about an inch gap so I'm not worried about that.Of course the handle is a bit off-center for a banjolele, because the heads are so heavy, but I can live with that until Gearlux makes a case(s) specifically for banjoleles. Most times I sling the strap diagonally across my chest as I'm also carrying another uke and my music and stand. And since I'm usually carrying so much stuff I really appreciate that this case is very lightweight.It also fits my Islander concert perfectly, so now I have a hard case for it as well when I'm not traveling with the banjolele. I've had the case for a month now, taking it out and about several times and it's showing zero wear. The drawback is that several others in the the uke band have the same or very similar cases so it can be tricky to i.d. which is mine.Two things - I wish the insides weren't black, because I can't see my black capo nor the black case for my banjolele's tools in the inside box (I've put a lighter-colored cloth in the box, but still, color is awesome). Also, the zipper for the front (and only) pocket is on the bottom edge of the case - that is very unusual and something to keep in mind so you don't lose your stuff.Overall, A+ and would buy again!

Needed a case for this Fender Ukulele and was a little concerned that it wouldn't be wide enough but it was perfect. the case is a little longer than the actual ukulele but that was expected. I will just cut a piece of foam to make it fit snug. If you don't have a special shaped uke, yours would probably fit perfectly.Pros:The case itself feels sturdy and looks way more expensive than it actually was.Comes with a case compartment that has a small lock inside!Very durable and thick. Instruments are defiantly safe inside.Cons:Isn't an exact perfect fit for a Fender Jazz Uke...but these isn't a case out there that is! This definitely did the trick.Very Satisfied with my purchase!

I have a Córdoba 15cm concert ukulele (24x8.5x3 inch overall, w 11 inch body, 6.25 wide upper section and 8.5 inch wide lower section). I ordered this case even though i knew it would be too big inside. I tried another case and though the measurements sounded right, the fit was just too tight for this uke, and the case was wood and really heavy—4lbs. I couldn’t find another case online that sounded like it would fit correctly. (I am a beginner and wasn’t willing to spend more than the cost of the uke itself on a case) This case, the GEARLUX concert ukulele case, is HUGE inside—much too big for my uke. But it is light weight, has heavy-duty, two-way, zippers that go completely around the long axis, is well padded, and made fairly well. So I modified the interior by adding padding that would not be inconvenient by being in the way or fall out. I cut up a black neck support brace in pieces, added some velcro to the inside of the case, and voila! (See photos) I have a case perfect for my uke. The uke is well cushioned and does not shift at all inside the case. It’s been carried with me on planes and through airports to Alaska, California, and New Mexico and on several car trips. I have had no issues.I would not check this through airport baggage. It would probably make it, but you would be tempting fate. And I don’t know any folks that do check their stringed instruments.I’ve had the case for about 8 months.If the fit were better, I’d have rated it better. In fact, I can’t figure out what instrument would fit well in it.Also the strap attachment looks a little flimsy but so far it has held up.

I had another version of this case (with a different logo) that lasted for many years before finally coming apart due to the amount of use it had. I struggled to find a replacement until I found this. Very sturdy and has a zipper pocket large enough for an iPad Pro which was critical for me and didn't appear to be available on any other case. Super happy with it. That said, this version was slightly smaller that the other one from long ago and fits the body and neck of the U-Bass perfectly snug. Problem is there are knobs on the side that stick out so I have to angle the bass so the knob side goes in first so the knobs are not stressed going into the case. Not a big deal given everything else about it. The interior of the case is soft enough that I don't think it is damaging the knobs or electronics.

This is lightweight but great protection for my guitalele when traveling. The strap is a little awkward for me as the guitalele falls forward and time I bend. Personally, I would prefer backpack straps, so may add them later, but that is not the fault of the case. Has an outer pocket which is large enough for a music book. I am happy with my purchase.

Bought this for a cordoba mini-O. Perfect fit. No rubber on outside Lower bout area, but it has a nice neck strap inside the case to keep the instrument from rocking when the case is carried. Prefer this to a gig bag. Like the strap options, can attach it on the back to use as a backpack or can put on the side. Per the photo, you’ll see it on the side - nice support / backup to the handle. No problem with the zipper. Very smooth. There is a Velcro strap by the handle that serves as additional safety in keeping the instrument secure in transport. This is my second purchase of one of these cases. The other one was the concert, ukulele size, and that one had the same features as this one. They should update their product photo as that neck strap feature inside the case is really great. And for my needs, Beats the rubber Lower bout accents that it no longer has.

I got this one and my experience was bad, thr zipper didn't work that well and the handle detached at the second day.

Well received by my grandson. The case was almost as popular as the ukelele!
