Porsche 911: Automotive Repair Manual, 1965 to 1989 - Coupe, Targa & Cabriolet

A haynes manual from the age when you could still do everything yourself
This is not like the new manuals that say visit your local dealer to get the problem fixed but it really tells you how to fix it, pictures are black and white but very clear. Also this manual differ from many other haynes manuals when looking at the engine section, its MUCH bigger and more detailed, not many modern manuals show you how to take apart the engine.Simply put a must for the 911 enthusiast that wanna fix their own car from this period.

Very handy for my 1976 911
I purchased this because I was doing work on my 911 myself. I purchased this along with a couple of other books. I like this better than the bentley 911 book because there is more information relevant to my year (Bentley only starts in 1978). That said, the wiring diagrams are hard to read both from how the laid it out as well as the quality of the printing. That said, for the price, it is a bargain. I recommend getting this as well as the Bentley if you are going to be doing some of this work yourself or want to check in on a mechanic so you aren't taken advantage of.

Good basic info, but poor quality photos.
Frustrating.....I bought this primarily for illustrations to assist me in poking around my 911. Illustrations not very clear. More like news print, black & white, with poor contrast.
