Not a bad little dock despite a few flaws
I got this dock via the Vine review program, and I'm quite glad I did. it will serve two purposes, as a port extender on my laptop when on the go, and more importantly, as one for my work phone (OPPO X6 Pro) to TVs in hotel rooms, for things like gaming, using a l shaped USB C extension cable for reach. It comes in a small cardboard box with all the specs on the back (it's quite comprehensive, and serves as a manual of sorts)As a mini dock, it works quite well, both the PC and the phone recognise it instantly, and the ports I've tested (PD USB C, HDMI out, SD card, and USB 2 for memory sticks. Haven't tried ethernet as frankly it's not a thing in my life.It looks and feels sturdy and well build, the ports are tight in a good way, and there is a little light when using PD.What doesn't work so well is that the small metal (or credible metal impersonation at least) gets really hot when using the video out and PD at the same time, not quite to burning levels but to the one you start getting a bit worried. I guess that quite a bit of juice goes through it and the small form factor doesn't have much of the way of heat dissipation. Shame, as that makes me doubt its longevity. I'll use it nonetheless, and update the review if there is a snag down the line.

A good range of ports for the money
This 8 in 1 USB-C Hub, with the right USB-C socket supporting at least data and display - allows a device to drive a second monitor via an HDMI socket at [email protected] Avigers USB-C Adapter 8 IN 1 offers a helpful range of ports, some albeit with basic specifications.Reading left to right, the first is an RJ-45 standard Ethernet port at up to 1Gbps.Secondly, there are two card reading slots, SD and TF, but this only supports one card, so it's either or.There are two USB-A sockets. The first is USB 2.0 with data transfer rate of only 480Mbps - although most peripherals like a Keyboard or Mouse use USB 2.0, this is a twenty-plus-year-old standard. There is one USB-A 3.0 port with a data transfer speed of up to a theoretical 5Gbps.(Some devices support USB 3.2 or higher, so, at least twice as fast)Unfortunately, both USB-A ports are blue. Only the USB 3.0 port should be blue; this is potentially confusing and not to standard.Things do get better, however. There is a single HDMI port, delivering a reasonable [email protected] USB-C data port. And lastly, a USB-C PD pass-through charging port at up to 100W, allowing a USB-C power adaptor to be connected and charge your source device through this hub.In conclusion, for the competitive asking price of £15.99 at the time of writing, this Avigers hub delivers reasonable value in the usual grey alloy case. Despite the basic nature of the card reader and the incorrectly coloured USB 2.0 port, this device delivers a good range of ports for the money, and on first impressions, this appears to be a well-made device.

Presentable and well-built but ethernet is a bit slow
This is a very versatile Hub with different types of connection, compatible with Pcs and Macs; It is a very convenient solution specially for newer MacBook’s without the old Usb ports…This hub does a great job transferring files over USB 3.0 ( It copied over 5 GB in seconds) and has a network card (RJ-45 connector); Unfortunately I could not get very high speeds(upload/download) from my 1gb speed (community fibre ) through its ethernet port, as can be seen from the photos ( average 94mbps download/upload);The HDMI connection works perfectly fine and does not need any change on the laptop settings if you want to mirror you pc screen, otherwise you can change the settings for extending the desktop to external display; The Hub itself is very sturdy and sleek; Other than the sluggish ethernet connection, it really seems to be of good quality and has a good performance overall; It does have a good value for money if you do not need a high speed ethernet connection.
