Best EDC boots I’ve owned.
If you are looking for this style of boot, they are perfect. Ive been wearing these every single day for two months and they are my favorite pear of boots I’ve ever owned. Having said that, I believe that most of the negative reviews are from people that didn’t really understand what they bought. So I am going to offer a couple of warnings: 1) The are MINIMALIST tactical boots, with an emphasis on MINIMALIST. These are not full duty boots that are going to offer the most protection and arch support, etc. These are designed to be light weight boots that do not feel like a heavy traditional boot. So, they are made of light, thinner material with a light thinner sole. They are supposed to feel more like casual shoes than big heavy tactical boots. If you don’t know what minimalist shoes are you need to research before buying these. They fit that description perfectly and are excellent minimalist boots. They are lightweight, breathable and they feel almost like athletic shoes to wear. However they are still very sturdy and made of tough material so they offer good protection as well. IMO they are the perfect boot for hot weather if you don’t need super protective boots. But if you are looking for steel toed, very tough protective tactical boots with a huge thick sole THESE ARE NOT FOR YOU. 2) There is a wear in period for these boots! Most of the negative reviews have to do with the fact that the material in the heal and above the heal can be uncomfortable. I am convinced that these people did not wear the boot past the wear in period or they got a size that was too small. It took about 1-2 weeks of wearing these boots before they fit perfectly. The heal area can be a bit uncomfortable at first, but I assure you if you wear them in they are extremely comfortable. I would suggest investing in a very thick, soft sock to help you through the wear in period. Honestly it wasn’t bad for me at all in the beginning. I wore a thick sock and had no pain. I could tell they weren’t broken in yet, but they didn’t kill me like others have suggested. Now that they are worn in the feel like basketball shoes almost, they are that comfortable. They have molded perfectly to my feet and I couldn’t be happier. I would definitely research minimalist shoes before buying, and understand that you will have to wear them in before they mold you your feet. They really are incredibly good boots. But they are not traditional military boots. You need to understand what you are buying before you commit.

Thanks amazon
Love these boots, had to return the first pair, too small. This size fit perfectly. Return process was simple and fast to be reimbursed; thanks you Amazon!

Nice boots, but a hell of a break in period
I bought these to replace my Danner Tachyon's that I'd had for years and years, so they had a very high bar to beat. While I wouldn't say they're better than Danner's, I'd say these boots are still nice. They are lightweight, have good traction, good movement, and are built well. The only downside for me on these boots, was the ridiculously painful and long break in period. After wearing combat boots for nearly 2 decades for work and military, these boots had the longest and most painful break in period out of any boots that I've ever had. And that was even after water forming them. In all, it took approximately 40 miles plus total to break in the boots. If you get these, make sure that you have a good supply of stockings and/or mole skin and mole skin tape for the hot spots.

Everyday Comfort
I picked these up to have something for my light-duty days. There's no reason to lose the comfort and functionality of zero drop shoes when you have to lace up the boots. These are durable, light weight, and high quality. Fix your feet!

Fantastic sole, TERRIBLE heel
Great boot as far as the sole goes. The sole is exactly as advertised, very flat and comfortable for the bottom of the foot. The issue with this boot is the heel, it's terrible and causes great discomfort and blistering when walking unless you pad it somehow (I used multiple layers of moleskin, and an anti friction shoe patch). The specific area of problem is where the leather turns to farbric on the back of the boot. You can see it in the pictures on the outside. On the inside of the boot at that location there is a ridge due to layering and it runs against your heel eventually causing blistering. NO it does NOT go away after breaking in, I have used these boots for 3 years (bought 2022) and recently took off the patches I put on the heel and wore them without, STILL causes heel blistering after three years of 2-3x weekly wear consisting of marching, hiking, and office work. Belleville have a great concept here and just need to fix the heel area and ankles as well (side ankle areas cause minor blistering too). It's truly unfortunate since other than that, this is the best boot I have had as it treats my foot soles well. Until Belleville fixes the heel I can't recommend this boot unless you're willing to put in the work to apply anti friction patches to the pain points.

The most durable minimalist shoe available
These boots are freakin awesome. I bought my first pair nearly 6 years ago and just got a second set. I wear them as a summertime boot for outdoor activities. Fishing, hiking, shooting, work, general tomfoolery. I have yet to find a better hot weather boot. My original set is still in very workable condition but the tread has since worn down. Comfortable, highly breathable, durable, lightweight. Mixing all these in a boot is nearly impossible. They do require a bit of breaking in but then they are sculped to your feet.

the wheels on the shoes goes round and round. the wheels are hidden under the heels of the boots and it gives a quick getaway when my squad gets into trouble wuth my sarge

They feel like gloves on the feet, not sure what people are talking about breaking in, they are comfy right away. They are light and seem to regulate foot temperature well (again too early to tell). The build quality seems there but we shall see. Will update in 6 months. Only point is the laces would use lace sleeve at the top of the boot tongue.

I wear a meryl vapor glove size 9.5, and these @ size 9.5 fit about the same so i don't know why the reviews on size are all over the board. they fit to size for me anyway. good toe room. i can tell they will need to be broken in well. time will tell for the durability.
