Use your own bearings
This is great on my chromoly Rock Hopper frame from 1980's, but the looks may not be for everyone unless the top tube is cutoff. Me not caring how it looks I had previously had a handlebar stem extender part, but now I do not need it. I need the BMX handlebars tall enough to comfortably stand up and pedal and the height is comfortable while sitting too. The middle part that your bike frame covers is only 6 or 7 inches on this frame, so that is why 6 or 7 inches protrudes out the top. You cannot use a pipe cutter due to the threads. I needed to search 1" bmx fork hardware. Got some used and from there I had 2 nuts to tighten together that I needed to go with the bearing race I pounded off of my old chromoly fork along with the upper and lower bearings. The weight isn't really an issue, I really don't like all the lightweight stuff, like 5 lbs or so overall. It takes a regular 1" BMX stem, fits in the 1" regular opening on the frame that existed before the newer Mountainbike 1 1/8 hole frames. 1" just as listed here although the 1 1/8 is also made. Then, looks also could be an issue with 24" wheels as the main outer tubes are 28 inches so they dwarf the 24" wheels, but I hate hitting the tire while pedaling, so that's fine with me. I tightened one nut against the bearing race after filling it up with grease, then I bolted the top piece overtop. There are no instructions but that looks great to me. I really love the paint, scuffed it up and put oil based regal red over it, the black one is paintable. Had it all painted then installation and adjusting was easy with a rubber mallet.

Decent value for the money.
The finish is very nice but the keyway for the headset washer is only cut 2/3 of the way down the threads. Very annoying. Guess I'll have to take it to a shop and pay to have the keyway cut far enough to reach the headset.
