I just couldn’t get on with this, too uncomfortable for me. Others may be ok with it but not for me unfortunately

I snore and when I snore it wakes my wife, she in turn wakes me and nobody gets a good sleep. I have tried a few different options from the teeth jig which pulls your jaw out to various nose clips and even an electric shock wristband which wasn't very nice!This tongue retainer works by pulling the tongue forward and away from the back of the throat. I saw a video once where the viewer was asked to try and make a snoring noise with their tongue sticking out, I couldn't so this proved this should be the right gadget for me. There is a right and wrong way to put this on, one side has a cut v groove which needs to be on the bottom. Stick your tongue out and pinch the ball at the end. The device will then automatically suction to your tongue. If it feels loose or too tight refit it. I found at first that some nights it fell out, you have to get the happy medium of it actually working and discomfort. It's not very comfortable but you do get used to it, and it's a small price to pay for a good sleep, and happy wife. I am a dribbler and this probably makes this a bit worse as I tend to breathe through my mouth so keep it open, I should try and keep it closed and breathe through the nose.How do I know it works? Well, I do like data so I tried one of the snoring apps that track you overnight. I had one evening without the device, and was scoring 40+ which is noisy. With the tongue retainer in this went down to less than 15Overall this is now an essential on the bedside table, I have two and so can rotate but they are very easy to clean with a rinse.

This does suction onto my tongue well and stayed on all night. It didn't stop me snoring unfortunately. I found it hard to remove at first, you need to peel a bit back in order to release the suction.

Doesn’t work.It’s that simple. Used faithfully, for weeks. Sticks to my tongue (which makes me drool - ta for that!) but does NOT make me stop snoring.Only benefit is, it was cheap. Still, it’s a gimmick and a con.Don’t waste your pennies. Only 1 star because Amazon (STILL) forces that nonsense on the buying public!

Trying to get a peaceful nights sleep and I saw this. When it came, it was literally in a small plastic bag, with no instructions. My partner tried all ways to fit it but we couldn't figure out and so a complete waste of money. I have looked back at the page to try and see how to use it. Still none the wiser.
