XO Baking Gourmet Vanilla Buttercream Frosting Mix - Gluten-Free Non-GMO Vanilla Frosting

I have been gluten free for about 15 years. My body does not do well on gluten especially wheat so when I found this gluten free carrot cake at the grocery store I bought one to try. It's really an excellent moist, flavorful cake. Of course then my grocery store didn't have it anymore. That's when I found it on Amazon (my favorite store). The only thing is they are $15 for one. So kinda pricey. They are alot cheaper ($8 ea) if you buy 6 for $48. That's what I did. The dry mixes store well and have a fairly long shelf life at about 18 months for the ones I bought. You could likely freeze them too though I have not tried that. I add cream cheese frosting to mine and a flower for color and it makes a beautiful and excellent tasting cake for any occasion. Try it! You'll love it!!

Very good gluten free cake!

I'll be honest, I'm not typically a pound cake person but this GF pound cake was sooo good that I ate the whole cake within 3 days!! The only reason I shared some with my family and friends was because I was so excited with how it tasted! I added the lemon icing on top and it truly just made the cake THAT much better! Will absolutely be ordering more!

This is the best gluten-free pound cake ever even my friends didn’t realize that it was gluten-free.The cake was moist. The texture was good.

As others have experienced the box arrived completely beat up and I was a little concerned that the inner package with the mix was open. I went ahead and made the cake as directed and it was delicious. It’s very expensive but I knew an ice storm was coming so I sprung for this so it would be delivered beforehand and I could make it while we were shut in. It turned out great.

Very good cake mix, gluten free!

Let me preface this by saying I have Celiac Disease and am very sensitive to gluten, as well as the family member that tried this product with me. We both had this last year with no reactions so we had it again this year. We both had a bad reaction to it and got very sick from it. There was definitely cross contamination in the mix this time around. If you have Celiac Disease and are sensitive to cross contamination, I do not recommend it. Sad to give this one up, it was quite delicious.

This GF carrot cake was delicious. I baked it in a 9x13 pan so I dont know if it would have made a nice double layer cake. I added 1/2 cup of pineapple when I made it and I frosted it with cream cheese frosting. This was one of the best carrot cakes I have ever eaten. It was moist and held together well. I have made this carrot cake twice. I cut part of the cake into pieces and froze them and they froze great. The only complaint I have is that it is expensive, I hope as more people are diagnosed with celiac disease or gluten intolerant that the price will go down. I will definetly buy this cake again. Everyone in my gamily loved it, even the ones that don't have Celiac disease.
