Chickpea Butter Spread - Choc-A-Chic (16 Oz)

The things you find on Amazon! What will they think of next? When I saw chocolate chickpea butter, I said, wow, I’ve got to try that! It’s delicious; I love the chocolate flavor, and chickpeas are easier for me to digest than nuts. I’ve eaten it plain from the jar, on vegan marshmallows (decadent!), and in my oatmeal! It has a little less fat and than peanut butter, but plenty of protein. Yum!

I discovered this at the Fancy Food Show in San Francisco. Out of the thousands of products there, this one was my favorite (this one and the Chickpea Butter Spread). This is innovative and delicious, yet with simple trusted ingredients. Tastes like healthy Nutella. Just had it with strawberries - Yum!

If something healthy for me also has the word chocolate in it, I'm all for giving it a try. This spread is delish! I used it on fruit - mostly apples. It really just tastes like chocolate; one would never expect chickpeas to be in there... can't taste them at all. This is one great tasting spread.

Excellent chocolate flavor, would never know it's made with chickpeas. Great little spread, but a bit drippy.

I can’t believe it’s not peanut butter. It taste even better. Just bought a set of The Amazing Chickpea i.e. Crunchy, Creamy and Choc’A’Chic and the taste are all Superb. It passed my expectations. No more peanut butter for me, I will go to healthy The Amazing Chickpea.

The product arrived with the seal broken. I don’t think that this is an eligible return, unfortunately. Even though it was opened, I tried it on my finger to see if if was still good. It was absolutely disgusting. Tasted like biofuel. Might be due to the seal being broken. Very unfortunate because I was really looking forward to eating it.

Received my jar on August 9 and when I opened it, it was completely separated and was hard as a rock. Tried stirring but was not making it any better. Looked at the expiration date and realized it had already expired on 7/17/20. Haven’t been unsuccessful contacting the company for a refund and cannot return the product. Extremely disappointed

I love this stuff and have ordered it a few times, but this time it arrived with the seal broken and it had leaked in the shipping box. Was sad about it, was looking forward to eating it :(
