wrong size tailpiece
I was sent a 2/4 violin tailpiece and it is of no use to me. It would have cost £15 postage to return the damn thing, more than its original cost!

A very good replacement if you need integrated adjusters
I initially brought this to replace the tailpiece on my violin. Although the one I had did not have integrated adjusters, it had 4 separate very poor quality lever type ones attached. The screws would slip to the side of the levers. I'm glad to say that the Wittner Ultra doesn't suffer from this problem at all. Each of the levers are nice and wide. The tailpiece as a whole seemed to be lighter than my old one with it's adjusters. The screws turn quite easily and the overall quality is definitely good for the price. For beginners who have trouble tuning their instrument this would be an ideal upgrade. Downside is that the "space age" material does have a bit of a plastic feel to it, but this isn't a concern for a cheap violin.
