I was very happy with the product. I had an ozonator 10 years ago with this one the ballpark it covers a very big area and all the smells were gone within minutes

After following some FB posts on an ex-pat page I followed, I bought an ozone generator from Amazon US and took itt back to Cozumel, MX on my last trip in my checked bag (no TSA issues or customs issues). For background, I live on a sixth floor, oceanfront condo and I get a lot of breezes. I was also in DAC for a long time and got tired of paying those huge electric bills for running 10 tons of central air so I leave my windows open a lot. My walk in closet does not have windows and gets very little direct fresh air. Things that do not get regularly worn and washed had taken on a jungle/woody smell from the wood in the closet. I have run the generator about 3 times for a total of 10 hours in the closet with the door closed. All of the funky odors were gone in all of my clothes except for a few items that were better, but still had a cedar/mahogany smell. In the closet, I added a small fan to blow the clothes around and get more circulation. I have used it in in all the bedrooms, with the doors and windows closed for about 6 hours each and set it on high. The odors are gone. In the future, when I leave for an extended period of time, I will simply put it on a timer and use random ventilate function on the central air system to move the ozone to all the rooms. I assume ceiling fans would work almost as well. I highly recommend this unit. You and your pets should not be in the rooms you are treating. After treatment, the room will have a smell that is a cross between Fabuloso and the smell after a heavy electrical storm. It dissipates in a few hours.

I bought this to try to eradicate cigarette, mildew, and dead mice in the wall smells from a house, and I am truly amazed at how well it worked. My only complaint is that the directions are very basic and just describe how to operate the unit. No recommendations on placement in a room, or when/why to use low, medium, or high settings, and how many hours you should set the timer for in various situations. I went to the website and there was nothing there, either. So I used it on the 'high' setting for 8 hours at a time in various parts of a very large older house. You definitely have to air the house out after using it because ozone has a weird smell, but after that, the smells were completely gone.

I've used ozone generators in the past so have some familiarity. I also work as a Director of Manufacturing Engineering at an electronics company so have high standards for product and manufacturing quality. I am extremely impressed with the performance and results of this unit. I used this to clean up a 17 year old car interior that was very musty and moldy smelling. While at it, I put some work boots and athletic cleats inside - these were on the verge of being thrown away because they smelled so bad. We didn't even bring these shoes in the house because they were so offensive. I let the unit run a few hours on high and was beyond impressed with the results - it far exceeded even my highest hopes. Everything is like new: even the incredibly bad shoes. They smell like new. Seriously. Like new. Yes, this unit was more than some other models but (I think) the performance of this is light years ahead. I also had a question and emailed the manufacturer and they were terrific to deal with.

This more than performed as hoped. I bought an older pick-up that had been closed up and stored for a couple of years. It must have been damp when put into storage and had a terrible musty smell that wouldn't go away. Suspecting mold I ran this unit for a few hours two times. It has been a couple of months now and the smell is entirely gone. I also used it in the upstairs of a very old house I bought. I think the previous renters had cats or kid spills or something that gave the upstairs carpet a suspicious odor. That also has been cleared up for a few months now. I especially like the fact that I can control the strength and time that it runs while I'm away. Be sure to note that you are suppose to leave the area while the machine is operating and then ventilate when returning.
