Small pieces dislodge easily
While the mat is fun we would have preferred less pieces to assemble. We bought this thinking that the tiles will be separately assembled as a puzzle. However every little design is a loose piece and falls off while we try to assemble or clean this. And as the pieces easily dislodge, our infant tends to sometimes pick things up and chew. So unless you are prepared to assemble lots of tiny pieces in the larger blocks for the mat, then this is not for you.

Adding a pegboard to this puzzle helped solve the zoomie problem.
Bought this for my doggos to have a softer place to lay on than the hard wood floor. They love it but I did have to modify it a bit to keep me sane. The material is not heavy duty. If you have larger dogs that tend get the zoomies now and then the whole thing will explode and you will have to put it all back together. Like others have pointed out, this playmat is made up of several dozen individual pieces. Each square has 4 toes and one paw pad. After several times of having to re-assemble the entire mat because dogs are dogs I went out and bought a 4 ft x 4 ft piece of pegboard and some spray on contact cement and fixed the problem.Simply assemble the mat pieces together with the smooth side up. My pegboard did not cover end to end so the mat edges overlap pegboard just a little bit. I actually prefer this. Dry-fit the pegboard to the mat, align it so it's square, then outline the pegboard by marking the edges with a pen directly onto the mat. Wipe the mat down to remove any debris if present. Remove the pegboard from the mat and spray the smooth side of the pegboard with your contact adhesive and lean it someplace safe. (use drop cloth/newspaper or you will have a nasty clean up on your hands. Follow the manufacturers recommendations too) Next spray your mat. (Again, protect your work area with drop cloths etc...) Once the surfaces are ready (follow your adhesive directions!) you can lay the pegboard onto the mat. It's best to use 2 people. One to stand the pegboard onto the first edge and then when that edge is lined up with the mark you made on the mat lean it over to the other person so they can lower it down to the line on their side. Once it's down there is no correcting any misalignment, so do it right the first time.Wife is very happy now, no more toes, squares, and paw pads flying around the house and the dogs are happier because it's one big mat now instead of 106 little ones. It's had several days of use now and I see plenty of dents and pokes where the dogs have scrambled up off the mat and their claws have scuffed and scraped the mat up. Not sure how long it will last but it was worth the price I paid for it. When it needs to be replaced I'll probably look for a sturdier foam material to use though. Love the idea of a foam mat like this for my dogs but constantly having to put the puzzle together again and again negates the experience a bit.

Padding
I didn't realize that the inside of each square pops out. It is also a bit thinner than I thought as well.

Good
I just received this today and set it up. It will be going into a play yard at some point. It was simple enough to put together, some pieces don’t fit quite flush, but it doesn’t seem to be a big problem. One of the border pieces wasn’t cut right when it was manufactured, so it’s uneven, which messes with my OCD a bit. I wish I had realized that the little shape come out, because I don’t really like that feature, but that’s my bad. Both my 7 month and my 2 year old were immediately drawn to it, they seem to enjoy it a bit. My 2 year old was trying to use her nails to pick at it. I got her to stop, and it held up well, there is no damage at the moment. Overall, it’s what I expected for the price and based off of pictures.

Better for Toddlers.
I love these colorful and fun vehicular designs. The pieces themselves are large and fun to use like a puzzle. That's where my title statement comes in. Some of these pieces are a tad complex for even toddlers to put together so it should be labeled as being for toddlers and up instead of babies.

Not for dogs maybe kids but not for dogs
So I want to write this because I don’t believe this is a very versatile product. I bought this to go under my puppy’s playpen when I saw the dog paws I thought perfect matches my living room and my clumsy pup will not slip and fall all day. The paws come out the tiny pieces were discovered by my border collie in less than 5 minutes after assembly so needless to say I had to cover it with a blanket anyway so it served as a sound dampening agent but not a good floor. I know it says for kids but when I typed in puppy flooring this came up so, maybe they want to adjust that. Also why would those pieces come out on paw prints? I mean choking hazard makes the mat less “water resistant” and the durability of the mat is suspect as well. I mean make a high quality mat I bought the same thing at Costco in grey and it’s about 4x as strong durability wise. It’s cute to look at but not versatile if you have pets stay away unless they don’t care about that because mine did right away

Worked well until...
We bought this when my son was starting to sit up on his own, around 6 months. For a couple of months, it worked perfectly- we set it up in any room where we were, put a bunch of toys on its, and sat him down. It cushioned him when he fell and he learned to roll over and eventually crawl on this mat, which was a huge for us because we have hardwood floors. It was easy to wipe off with a wet towel when the dog hairs got to be too much (which didn't take long), and it traveled pretty well. However, once his fine motor skills developed a little more, the inserted pieces were too tempting and the minute we set him down on the mat, up they came, and into the mouth they went. He incessantly pulled the borders off and ate those, so we had to put it away. I think we will probably pull it out again when he is old enough to actually put the pieces back in where they belong and is not so keen on eating everything. I'd say this is a good buy for up to 10 months or so and then again after about 2.

Baby room
Bought 2 and it's comfortable on the feet under my crib and change table and a simple wipe or wet rag and it's cleaned and dries fast

Great
Suprisingly easy to clean. Was initially apprehensive as I’m using the tiles as a defensive layer in a dog room. Luckily I struck luck, the quality is good in comparison to a previous purchase. One of my dogs is a serial pee machine and thank god theses tiles retain the pee (so far no absorption and lays on top of tile) allowing me to wasily mop and wipe up. I also through them in the utility sink and give them a good wash also and they retain their colour and appearance. The paw prints do come out, but despite other reviewers, dogs haven’t touched them and our cat now and again pulls one out,but seem durable.conclusion, water resistant, durable and for the price, not cheap looking like I was expecting. Great addition

Cute and good quality
Not as pricey as other mats and definitely better looking. I purchased this mat as it is bigger than many others on the market (and also less colourful so a bit more discreet in a living room!).No complaint whatsoever so far, I still wish it was a bit bigger though! As other reviews mentioned the colour of the edges doesn’t match all the pieces of the mat but that’s a minor issue that’s barely noticeable. My one year old figured out pretty quickly how to take apart all pieces (and chew them) which is the only negative thing but that’d have happened with any other mat.Great quality and very cute, I’m glad I chose this model.

Satisfaite
Format parfait.
