Lovely wooden sushi
All my kids adore real sushi, so they have really enjoyed incorporating this into their pretend play.The pieces are sized to be a very similar size to real nigiri and maki rolls. The nigiri have the topping pieces attached to the rice by a small magnet. They all fit nicely together onto the included serving tray. All the wooden pieces are nicely painted/printed, and there is a varnish/lacquer over the top of the print, which is quite glossy. The small maki rolls are printed on both flat sides.This is an excellent addition to the play kitchen for kids who like sushi.

Salt and pepper!
I gave this to my grand daughter to play with almost immediately after it had arrived today. She recognised it was sushi but used the sushi rolls as salt and pepper pots when playing at cooking. The magnets are good for holding the pieces of fish to the rice rolls and the serving platter holds everything in place well. As this is wood it should provide years worth of play for kids.
