I love this “cleansing oil”! I use it as a regular face oil, leaving it on my skin overnight. It feels so hydrated the next morning. It’s kind of a dry oil. It doesn’t feel heavy. It is quite breathable on my skin and absorbs really well. You can use it as a cleansing oil, or just a regular face and hair oil.It has pure, simple ingredients and since it is all oils and no water-based ingredients, it doesn’t need any preservatives. All the ingredients are organic. It is so good for skin health - I love it!Ingredients:Pomegranate Seed OilArgan Kernel OilOlive OilProprietary blend of essential oilsThey describe the scent as Eucalyptus, Vetiver, Pomegranate on the product page. It really doesn’t smell like that to me. It is definitely nature essential oils that are very well balanced and not overwhelming (to my nose). It smells woodsy like sandalwood with undertones of vetiver for sure, but I also pick up geranium and citrus. It is a scent that is soothing and satisfying…the scent I crave when I think of essential oils. I wish they disclosed the actual essential oils - it’s weird when they call it “proprietary” because I feel like they hide what’s actually in it to the consumer.I am really glad they used high quality oils and no fillers like sunflower oil. There are no funky ingredients and this feels very gentle on my skin. I use it on my face, neck, and chest. I have had no bad reactions and it has quickly become my go to in the evening. I will sometimes spray a rose hydrosol on after applying the oil and my skin really soaks that in! So wonderful!!!This comes in a glass bottle with a pump top. The pump top works really well (doesn’t squirt out too much oil) and the contents stays very stable and fresh.I love that this is made in the USA. I think it is a really good face oil and very well priced for the amount you get (almost 2 fl oz). You only need a little bit, so this bottle lasts along time.

This is a really nice facial oil with all organic ingredients. The smell is hard to describe, kinda botanical and woodsy, but not overwhelming. It's quite refreshing and the smell doesn't linger once the oil is washed off.There are a couple of ways to use facial oils, knowing that this one is an oil only and not an oil soap - it will not turn white or lather when you add water. Both ways you first apply the oil and gently rub it into your skin for a minute or two. The first option is to use a towel or rinse with a bit of water, leaving a thin, moisturizing layer of oil on your face. The other option, and the one I prefer, is to use a water based soap after to fully wash the oil from your face. I don't mind body oils that stay on my skin in general, but am not a fan of an oily feeling left on my face.There's actually a third way to use this oil that is also quite nice, and that's using along with a gua sha tool or facial roller. The aromatherapy adds to an enjoyble experience using these kind of tools.I can't gully speak to the cleansing ability of this oil because I don't often wear makeup, but it does do a good job of helping to remove sunscreen, which I do use. I like this as a first step oil cleanser for it's refreshing scent and enjoyable experience of use, followed by a second cleanser that washes this off.My only hangup is the ingredients listing on the box. The box says the ingredients include:Pomegranite seed oilArgan kernel oilOlive fruit oilProprietary blend of essential oilsIt frustrates me that a beauty product won't list the full ingredients, especially with oils because some people's skin can be very sensitive to some oils, and not knowing what's in the product could steer some people away.The ingredients in one of the photos on the product listing are all organic and say it inclures:Pomegranite seed oilArgan kernel oilOlive fruit oilLavandin oilGeranium oilEucalyptus oilVetiver root oilI appreciate being able to see the full list of ingredients somewhere, but wish it was on the box or bottle.

This oil removes makeup really well. It's lightly scented. Im not a fan of scented products on the face, but it's no intrusive, so I tolerated well. Overall a good product, but the the value for the money is questionable. It's an oil and that's about it.

I'm newer to the oil cleansing technique, so I've been trying out different brands over the last several months, looking for ones I'd like to incorporate in my routine.While this specific product/company had some great things going for it (see 2 photos from listing - cruelty-free, vegan, organic, etc.), I'm afraid this aromatherapy cleanser won't be a repeat purchase for me. I didn't care for the scent, but my bigger issue was the difficulty in washing it off. After following the directions, I still felt like there was an oily layer on my face and felt it was necessary to follow-up with a second cleanser, just to remove this cleanser. While I know there are benefits to using a 2-step cleansing plan, I don't want to be forced to do it because the first cleanser left a film.For this price, I could find something that worked better for me. However, because I like what the company is doing with its products (see 2 photos taken from product listing), I wouldn't hesitate to try something else from them!
