It does the job but very slow.

The physical size of a laptop, got stopped at airport security but had no issues once they knew what it was. Cracking unit to charge powerbanks & small electronic devices. 20,000 Mha batt pack takes about 5 hours. iPad was mostly charged after a couple of hours from 11% Panels work best out in the open, not behind glass windows. Super product when discounted offer is available.

This is a great solar panel when it comes to fast charging. Works well and even in cloudy conditions. Looks great and Packs really well as well. But... On the inside it's a cheap poor manufactured product. I am on my second panel and both of them broke just after several uses. Apparently where they fold, there's a circuit misconection which comes apart and now it works only after loads of fiddling it in awkward positions. It looks like it's a common defect from other reviews, so. It's just poor design /manufacturing on the inside.

Could not quite give it 5 stars. While I think it is good. Think a little overpriced and a few things needed like clasp for closing or a little storage etc. First this is the newer Flexsolar 40w as have noticed it is easy in these reviews to get the wrong info. Seems a mix of the 40w's and the 60 & 80w. They are all diffrent and made differently. They always ask for reviews as soon as you receive, but need to leave a while. With my limited time I have had it, a couple of months. It is brilliant and does all I want. Charging small items. This came quickly and a replacement for the older 40w version of solar panel i accidentally ordered. So be careful when ordering as easy to buy the wrong one, especially when going back and forth comparing. It’s charges my phones, power banks, camping lights, torches or any small/medium sized rechargable device for that matter. I am very pleased with this Solar pad. Definitely a must have. Tried it in overcast weather here in the uk and it charged power banks and phones quite quickly still. Seems well built and folds down to a nice size, about laptop size. But could do with a closing clip or velcro tab. Overall, 40w, small, light and easy to pack away. Charges phones and power banks quickly on a bright day and slower obviously on overcast. But early days and will keep posted if any change.

Bought for a trip almost off grid to Africa this summer so we can charge power banks during the day to charge phones at night. Tried it in overcast weather in the uk and it charged the power bank quite quickly. Seems well built and folds down to a nice size.

It’s charges my phones and power pads. I am very pleased with this Solar pad. Definitely a must have.

Worked for three months now the 'power' light won't stay on. Has not been mistreated etc. No returns support offered by Amazon...which now makes me wonder why I ordered this from Amazon.
