S-size: Thigh Circumference 15.5"-18.5"(40-47cm) Calf Circumference 11.5"-14.5"(29-37cm) M-size: Thigh Circumference 18.5"-21"(47-53.5cm) Calf Circumference 14.5"-17"(37-43cm) L-size: Thigh Circumference 21"-23.5"(53.5-60cm) Calf Circumference 17"-19.5"(43-49cm) XL-size: Thigh Circumference 23.5"-26.5"(60-67cm) Calf Circumference 19.5"-22.5"(49-57cm) How to measure: measure your thigh's circumference 5" above your kneecap. Q: Is this knee brace work as unloader brace for whole knee?

I do not know. It did help stabilize my knee, but has pressure points on either side that can be uncomfortable. Is ok for short periods. I have since had a replacement, so you can gauge that answer - the knee was shot. I was looking for a temporary way to stabilize when I had to be outdoors. The device worked for that purpose and did help prevent pain due to bone on bone contact.

Q: How do you adjust the unloading?

I had a hard time making adjustments to the device. I could not get it apart to swap the shims. I used it primarily when I wanted support when there might be bad footing. The knee was ready for replacement, and it was somewhat painful to use the device for long periods. Having said that, it gave me some assurance that the leg would not give out and did relieve pressure on the joint. The operation is done now and I no longer need the device.
