LOVED IT!!!
The first story I’ve read by Miss Liang and it did not disappoint! I was hooked the entire way through, at no point did I ever feel bored or feel that something was unnecessarily written in! I wanted to start rereading the second I finished the book (which I actually finished ridiculously quickly, it was that good!). This book is targeted to 13+ but even as a 19 year old, I loved it! It was the perfect little high school enemies to lovers.I do wish there was more at the end for after they’d gotten together like dates and first time going into school after getting together (that being dependent on if they went to the same school given it was final year). But overall, I don’t have anything negative to say, it was a superb read and i know already I will be rereading in the future :)Can’t wait to see what other books she writes and give her other ones a try!!

Magnetic, romantic and truly captured the essence of enemies-to-lovers
Sadie Wen lives by her perfectionist image. School captain, valedictorian and all-round good girl, she’s never stepped a foot out of place, even at home—the example of a flawless employee for her mother’s bakery, which, by the way, sounded like the cutest little place. But all pleasures-to-have-in-class need to channel their frustration somewhere, and for Sadie, that is her unsent draft emails. Every shred of anger that needs to be spilled is left there, safe from wrecking her image, out of sight and mind—that is until someone sends them out.Suddenly all eyes are on Sadie, especially those belonging to Julius Gong, the boy that’s been a pain in her side since they were kids, somehow always there, as her co-captain, her rival, as her enemy that’s always trying to compete with her on every little thing. In her emails, Sadie never held back in her ranting because no one was ever going to read them, which means that Julius took a lot of heat in her paragraphs of confession, and so did a lot of her classmates. But whilst she’s feeling the walls closing in from other people, unafraid to tell her what they now think of her, Julius is somehow . . . not acting how Sadie expected. Why does he seem impressed by her candor? And why is she slowly but surely seeing a new side to her long-thought rival, too?Overall, I Hope This Doesn’t Find You was magnetic, romantic and truly captured the essence of enemies-to-lovers. The character development in the story—that I blitzed through in a weekend of two sittings—was executed so well, and I felt like through Sadie’s confessions, old and new, we got to see her come out her shell and embody herself once and for all. My love for Julius bloomed up over the course of the middle chapters, and I felt how much him and Sadie brought out the best in each other when they thought it was just the worst. I would love to have explored his family more, but still loved how Ann wrote Sadie’s multicultural background, and loved getting to know about her Chinese-Australian heritage. Ann has this way of making you lose all sense of the real world when you’re reading one of her books, and I felt this more than ever with I Hope This Doesn’t Find You, which is perfect for fans of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. A gorgeous YA romance!

Hope beyond hope
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and the story flowed well. The characters once in place had rapport. The story ticked over well and the length of the story was good and didn’t seem too hurried.

Fab!
This is a great book and it deserves love. I’m not the target audience (if that is actually a thing) but I devoured this book. It’ll make you feel (and remember the feeling of) those complicated feelings of fitting in, of wanting to be someone, of the difficulties communicating with people you care about, and first love. All of the characters are well written and stay true to themselves - there’s no She’s All That moment thankfully, nor does the love interest suddenly become less prickly. I felt like I should have had a problem with how Julius treats Sadie at times - there is some verbal bullying - but understanding her personality, and his, actually this was part of the reason they work so well - they spur each other on and give as much as they take. I literally now want to go and read the rest of this authors book! If you’re not sure - read this book.

The lost child of Mariana Zapata
I adored this book. The banter between the main characters was everything, the tension, the dialogue, everything was so addictive. The writing was particularly really good, and the confession part is handed down one of the best-written love confessions I have ever read.I look forward reading more from this author!
