So, I'm not a drinker (booze) but I do like to have an energy drink with me for long car rides, and once a week I have to spend about three hours in the car, round trip. So I got this to keep my drink cold, and my hands not cold. You can buy a lid by itself or you can buy a cup/lid combination. There are two sizes for the cup option: 12oz or 16oz, since most energy drinks come in 16oz cans, I opted for the latter. The lid seems to function well, it holds tight to the can, but not so tight, that you have to struggle to remove it. I do have a little trouble getting it on, but I think that's more me being cautious not to break it, than it is a fault of the product. I haven't tried it with a single use paper cup yet, and I'm not sure I will. The cup (16oz version), is quite bulky, and hardly stealthy. It's not so conspicuous as to draw attention to itself, but if someone does happen to notice it, it holds their attention, as they attempt to figure out "what's up with that guy's mug?" Since I use mine for non-alcoholic beverages, I don't mind a little lookie-loo, because while beer may be prohibited where I'm going, energy drinks are not. As my title suggests; I haven't noticed my drink staying noticably colder for any meaningful amount of time. I do like the novelty of it, and since I've already spent the money on it, I'm going to use it, but I won't be buying again.Summation:lid/cup combo: stealth > coozie.Paper cup > trinken cup for stealth.

I bought the original one first, that one i highly recommend! It looked great and was easy function but didn’t fit my Liquid Death sparkling Water cans.So i bought this one. My expectations were high, so i was really bummed out when the bottom popped out the first time i went to use it. Took me a few minutes to get it back in but i finally did. Unlike the original it does not look quality. The top is way too bulky. The plastic is super shiny. It looks like I’m hiding an alcoholic beverage. Plus the bottom eventually got to the point where it would fall off even when i took a sip.It’s too bad my water doesn’t come in a smaller can because i absolutely enjoyed the original! It looked good, kept the sun off my drink, has a smooth flow spout!IMHO, don’t get this one but if you use small can beverages i highly recommend the original!

At first, I had some real trouble getting my 16 oz NOS cans to fit, but after putting some elbow grease into it I got everything situated properly. It's pretty cool. I put 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish it wasn't as shiny and plastic looking. If it had a matte finish on it, or a texture like the styrofoam cups it's emulating that would be cool.**I originally had this at 2 stars bc I couldn't get it to fit, but, after some more effort, I did get it to fit securely as shown in the last picture.**

Got this as a gift for a friend. The idea is great, but the cup is a bit on the flimsy side, that's why only 4 stars.. The top does fit on other "to go" cups so it made the purchase worthwhile.

Great for 12oz/16oz cans, they snap tight onto the lid, never had a spilling problem. Does not work with 24oz cans. Easy to slip into cargo pants pocket before / after use. Everyone thinks you are holding a large cup of coffee. You could also fill the cup itself up with a beverage too, but if you somehow collapse it while it's filled you have a big mess on your hand. Stick with the affixed can and no spills are happening. Sturdy plastic and snap-on lid.

Works with seltzer cans! I first used this with Truly. At first I thought the can was too tall but I just had to give the cup a stretch and it worked!

I bought this item on and got a version that only holds a 12 ounce can not an 18 ounce can as indicated. Was disappointed and I am returning it as I bought it before and got the correct one which is an awesome item.

Works like they say only negative is a lot of spilling and it kinda heavy so you drink more then you think you should

The product title says it fits up to 16oz, and the product description says it fits up to 17oz. I decided to be optimistic and bought it in the belief it would fit a 17oz can. It doesn't.Apart from that the product is good. But I'm taking out one start for the inconsistencies in the product information that led me to believe it would be a good fit for what I was looking for.

I was expecting to enjoy drinking a discrete beverage with the Trinken, and I did, but I wasn't expecting how much I would enjoy the mouth feel. While I could be talking about delicious, smooth intoxicating beverages, and I am, I'm also referring to how much nicer it is to drink from a Trinken than from a can.I highly recommend you buy one and give a Trinken a try, you won't want to go back to a naked can again! ;)

I bought this as a gag gift. It seems to work well and serve its intended purpose but this is a $10 item, not $30. Then again, if spending $30 on this helped you recognize that you might have a drinking problem it might be money well spent.

Really like the idea, product works great, delivered on time. Only thing I would say is that it might be a little overpriced but if your willing to pay it works well
