Great update to my vehicle
I love how well the navigation system connects via my blue tooth to my phone more reliable than using cord. I also like responding to texts with my voice.

Works great with some intelligent management
Bought for 2025 Mazda 3 and works fabulously. Are there some smaller issues, yes but none that are dealbreaking. Phone (S25+) will discharge so needs to be plugged in on longer trips. If the power port for your phone is also Android Auto, your vehicle may become confused as to which input to take (hardwired vs Ottocast) Solution: Don't plug in your phone before it becomes active wirelessly, then plug in. Overall I'm very happy with this and purchasing another for my other vehicle.

BATTERY DRAIN AND CONSTANTLY TRIES TO CONNECT
I really can't grasp how this has 4.3 stars!* Constantly tries to reconnect after you walk inside. Don't believe me? Find out for yourself by buying this. And while it's fighting with you to regain control of your phone, it disconnects from Wi-Fi and sucks your battery dry.* Make sure and keep your phone plugged in while using it because it will drain your battery* Don't even get me started with how hot your phone will become while using this.Just more Chinese made overpriced trash.

Connection was a breeze!
I have been looking for awhile trying to decide on which Android Auto Wireless Adapter to buy and after browsing several websites I finally decided on ottocast. Most of the reviews were very positive. The one thing I want the most from a adapter was easy setup. I had no issues connecting to my Samsung phone and to my vehicle. It took less than a minute and it started without an issue. I just installed this and everything is working fast and flawless. I will continue to update this review and repost a follow up after a couple a weeks to make sure I have no issues with this product.

It works fine but takes some effort to connect it for the first time
It would not connect at first. I did some research and found the Developer settings on the Android Auto app on my phone and enabled wireless android auto within the app. The adapter works fine now. The only thing I don't like is that it will not turn off when the car ignition is off so my phone keeps connecting/reconnecting to the adapter whenever I am within 30 yards from my car and it drains my car battery. I have to manually unplug the adapter when I turn my car off, which sort of defeats the purpose of having it, except that it is more convenient to plug in the adapter than to have the phone tethered to the car, but hence only 3 stars.

Great way to get Maps and music from your phone...
Worked great on my Elantra after Hyundai dropped Blue Link so I didn't have GPS anymore. Don't even have to take my phone out of my pocketbook and I get music now too, so I dropped SiriusXM! It doesn't work on my husband's Tacoma truck but he can plug his phone in directly and I couldn't to get Android Auto.
