Dehumidifier Rod/High Power (18in)

Be sure to read the product description—these rods cover more area than you’d expect. I’m using the small size in a tall safe and it works perfectly. Great dehumidifier

Wanted a low-energy consumption dehumidifier for my gun safe. This economical product performs exactly as advertised eliminating the moisture in my safe and preventing the accumulation of rust on my hardware. Very satisfied with this purchase!

With these cold temps that we are having here on the East coast I wanted to check the inside temp. When I would my hand but the door opening you could feel the heat pushing out.

I had tired using rechargeable silica canisters over the years for my gun cabinets but we live in a humid area and they simply did not last long. I finally bought two of these rod type dehumidifier's and now realize that I should have gone this route years ago. These are far superior as they raise the ambient temperature in the cabinets just enough to keep the moisture out. You don't have to check and re-oil your firearms as frequently as this rod is always working. You do need an outlet close by but that is easy enough to install one if you need one closer to your cabinets. These rods are lightweight but seem quality built and even have the mounting hardware included. They are a great value for protection of your valuables.
