For the price, quality, and convenience - can't beat the price. I prefer this brand over AJM Plates. These seem less absorbent. They hold up better and feel denser.

Great Money-Saver, Good Quality at a Decent price!!
Was tentative on buying these just because one reviewer said they were as thin as tissue but - DON'T BE AS THIS IS NOT TRUE! - and I am so glad I made this purchase! These plates are exactly the same as those I've been buying in the store for years, and they are perfect for any kind of light or dry type food (maybe not recommended for heavy meals like lasagna, but for full meals I always use my regular dishes anyway). These are great for desserts, sandwiches, snacks, pizza etc. - or as a cover for warming other foods in my microwave. They hold up just fine, separate well from the stack of other plates, and I always put wicker holders under them anyway, just for the ease of carrying without anything sliding off. Unless you truly want to pay a fortune for a heavy, coated plate that perhaps could hold a whole plateful of steamy cooked food, try these out and you'll see they are a very good buy and are perfect for the lighter type meals or snacks you'll want them for - you'll be glad you bought them!

Plates are a little weaker than some
Although the plate is weaker than Sams Club, it does the intended function. At the time of purchase the price was better than Sams Club, and I would repurchase. The price at the time of this writing has increased. Back to Sams Club now.

Pricing
On the left is plate ordered from Amazon for under 3 çents each. On the right is a "budget friendly " coated plate that doesn't leak through for around 10 cents per plate. Everyone in the household seems to think they need a new plate for everything they eat multiple times throughout the day. I was spending a fortune on paper plates every other week so I ordered these. Yes they do leak through as expected and using 3 at once isn't cost effective however spending an additional $8 for a dozen plastic plate holders does!. If they get messy just rinse and reuse. EZPZ😃 Not like breaking out the company China but a household with kids (teens) they are a fantastic bargain in the new world of outrageously priced paper products. We have managed to go through 2 of the 100 count inner packages in under 2 months. For those who need large quantities of paper plates these are great. For household use I do recommend the holders as a good investment. In a pinch I've picked up the smaller packages from dollar store just to get by and these are better made. We do use real dishes for meals for those of you concerned about the waste as many of them end up as Firestarter material as long as they're dry.
