Y'all...I can't even express how great this item is. I'm a hard-core hunter. But I hate being surprised in the dark by an unknown animal. We have mountain lions and bobcats in Iowa. This one product has taken the anxiety of walking into the timber out of me. The digital zoom is still clear enough to see deer and even turkeys on the roost. The controls are simple to understand.The ir settings are more than needed, I never took it higher than ir1. The single eye allows for night vision but faster target acquisition and also finding great out of your pack.It dosen't come with a head strap, but I found one on Amazon fairly cheap and it works good! It's a bit heavy but it really needs to be for the high quality electronics this thing packs. Get this!

Well made! Very happy with build quality, brass lined battery compartment, Solid metal mount is very nice. Locks into position very well. Very pleased with the clarity of the camera and view finder. Controls were simple to learn, smooth and easy to navigate. Fantastic in low light, haven't got to test to much in pure darkness. Color options are nice. Overall weight was low despite all the metal components. Didn't feel like I need counter balance weights at all. Very happy and would highly recommend.

This is cool for if you want to hunt or do things that don't involve needing hide from another person with night vision. I figured out how to turn off the illuminator, but as soon as the unit is turned on the illuminator is automatically on as well. You have to turn it off every time you want to use it. Once the illuminator is off it doesn't bug people who have analog night vision, but also it makes it way harder to see. Basically, without the illuminator you can't see well unless you have a full moon. And that's still a maybe if you are in the woods.This feels like looking through a camcorder. To be honest though, if you were weighing buying your child a cellphone or this you should buy the digital night vision. For play you can use the illuminator all you want and can see everything. It's a super bright illuminator. One downside is if it's a cold night the illuminator is right above your mouth and nose which might be blocked by the water vapor in your breath.Another thing you should do is take some paracord and tie it down to something. My mount has let go a few times especially the older it gets.Final thoughts: If you want it for fun or for hunting it's a great buy! But I wouldn't take it anywhere that you need it to stay alive by owning the night.

These things are amazing. Has infrared lights . Has zooming. You can focus . Is very clear . Has a green light also. Holds a charge for a few days .travel size. Can hook up to wifi. Fits perfectly. Easy to assemble. Great value.

This device has little to no illumination abilities. It hardly works as “night vision” as it requires so much ambient light to work. I would not buy this, although the build quality was very nice, it’s pretty useless for actual darkness. Returned

I bought this monocular as an introduction to IRNV. As y’all probably already know, the real deal IRNV can cost THOUSANDS. I took advantage of the Prime Day Deals and got this for under $200. At that price I had to try it out.The box this item arrived in was cushioned pretty nicely; nothing was shaking about in the box. It includes the 18650 battery, the charger (USB wall plug and micro USB charging cable), lens cloth, operation manual, and the helmet mounting kit.I have not been able to use the monocular to its fullest extent, but I shut out the lights in my house and was pretty impressed with the quality of vision. The option to turn on / off the Infrared light is nice. The infrared light works pretty well! If you’re in a dark area, you can still see very well without the IR on. The feel and quality of the unit is pretty sturdy, but I don’t know how it holds up after multiple uses with a lot of bumps and possible drops. Its weight feels slightly on the heavy side, but nothing I wouldn’t expect. There are only three buttons to operate the menu, so it is not too complex to operate. The focus is also easy to adjust being at the front of the unit.A HUGE plus to this unit is the interchangeable 18650 battery. If you have multiple batteries charged, you can keep your device running much longer. You can find these batteries at a vape shop or maybe Amazon.All in all, this is an excellent option if you want to try IRNV without breaking the bank.
