Protects Well
This has been on our spa for about a week now and it has really helped keep the thermal cover clean and protected. I suspect that it has also reduced the evaporation out of the spa some too.As another reviewed stated, the fabric is akin to thin "blue plastic tarps", which is true. The fabric is not really very substantial (thick).Whether it will last more than a year or 2 is to be determined, I think it should last at least couple years for me which is OK.I usually don't like the idea of buy-use-throw away (then) buy-use-throw away...but it will protect the thermal cover and the sides of the spa, so over the long run it should more than pay for it's self.I'd rather throw away this cover every 2 or 3 years than replace the thermal cover or refinish the sides of the spa every 5 or 6.9-29-19 edit: I have bought and used 2 of these covers in a 5 1/2 year period. The second is about ready for replacement, so these last about 3 years for me in San Ramon, Cali...which averages about 88 F degrees in the summer and 40 F degrees in the winter. Not a harsh climate but enough to wreak fabric and plastics if left without sun protection.I have tried 2 different covers over the years and this is the best, based on life and because of the skirt length on 38". There are a LOT of covers that are better, but they have a skirt of something like 14", which doesn't cover/protect the spa sides. My spa is something like 9 years old and still looks almost new, both the thermal cover and the painted wooden spa sides. My only criticism is that these are $100+, when they could easily be $50.

Holds up in Wisconsin weather
We've had this on for 2 winters in Wisconsin. Holds up to the damaging elements very well. We do use tie downs because the high winds can get up under it but that's a given not a production or design flaw. Very glad we made the purchase.

Nice cover...However, I put a tarp over the top for extra protection.

Seemed a little pricey for basically a blue-like tarp, but it's what we needed. How will it hold up...not sure. It's sitting on a hot tub in Arizona!

Very good with one exception
Does not stay put in wind. It has a tendency to blow off as the wind can get under it.
