Wasn't What I Expected
I expected a bigger bowl...this doesn't hold too much. Maybe I figured it wrong in my head before I ordered. I used it a couple of times and it steams ok but is heavier than I like.

Love love this! Makes eating veggies quick and easy, no excuse! Just cut up some veggies stick in bowl , andput lid on for I think 4 minutes , perfectly steamed! It does get hot so use oven mitts . It’s made out of special stuff that can get hot and not leach into your food

I have only used it a couple of times, so far I love it. It is just the right size for just me and it seems to work great.

POTATOES! And more!
This thing is great! I've been using a large glass rectangular Pyrex dish to cook potatoes in the microwave but lacking a proper lid I always had to put plastic wrap over it. Gross. Now with this custom microwave dish I have a built in lid which handles venting and everything.I can fit 600g of small red potatoes in here no prob. Note that the lid does NOT have to close all the way, just as long as the silicon is touching along the edge without visible air gaps. Given larger potatoes it's very rare I get to push the lid ALL the way down but they still cook perfectly.Metal around the edge was a surprise but with no sharp surfaces arcs can't form so it's safe for microwaves. Gotta love physics!Wish I had bought a slightly larger one but honestly - this is great for a single-person potato meal when those are on the menu. Highly recommended!
