Good Old Analog Meter
Works exactly like you want: Needle jumps quickly when poles are engaged, and gives an easy indication on how much juice remains in your battery. Have used for all the cell types supported, and it's been reliable every time. I keep it in the fridge with the batteries, in their storage box, and the meter has proven very useful and consistent: a great value compared to blindly installing to see if the battery will power your device!

These are very well priced, they do their work just fine. Materials aren’t the best, as they look and feel a bit cheap, but they’re practically weightless.

Handy to have
Handy to have if you have kids with toys that require batteries. Easy to use, compact size. Great stocking stuffer or cute FATHER'S day gift!

Hard to hold battery in place to test
The price is reasonable to replace the one that died. The only issue I have is that it is difficult to hold the battery in place while you test it. Over time, it guess it will make it easier to test. The unit works and you have an easy to read meter.

Good gift, although they share packaging
I like to gift battery meters to people because it's something most people need but haven't bothered to buy. I have one and it keeps me from hanging on to old batteries in my drawers. This 2-pack was a good deal, but they both come as loose items in one resealable bag. So there's only one package for the two of them. That's awkward if you want to gift them to two people. Otherwise they're great.
