I purchased this apron for 19.99 a month ago, why has the priced increased 27.99 now?

I looked into my magic ball and found that the company had so many sales, they decided to raise the price. Still worth every penny in my opinion at $27.99. I never saw the price so low as $19.99

Is the deatailing (back part) leather or imitation leather?

seems like real leather--but note that it does nothing more then keep the two shoulder straps crossed in back--the straps themselves slide through slots in the leather piece. Very sturdy in my opinion.

What are the care instructions? How does it hold up after washing?

I use it for ceramic painting, si, I've never washed it. Sorry, I wish I could help you further. It's a great apron though.
