Hose sucked

This hose really impressed me, but unfortunately will not work well for my application. I wanted to set up a dust collection system in my shop by running this hose from place to place. Although it's very tough and seems like it will last forever, the hose compresses too much for me when the vacuum was on. I worried it was going to put too much stress on my other hoses/couplings/adapters, some of which are way more fragile than this hose.I am giving it 5 stars because it's exceptional, even though I had to return it.

This is a great addition to any workshop dust collection system. The see-through hose is a plus since you’ll be able to see how much sawdust is going through the hose or remains in the hose. It is very flexible and easy to adapt to many different tools. The length is perfect so you can reach many different sections of a workshop.

I used this hose for multiple tools in my small shop, cutting it into smaller sections. There is nothing worse than fighting with non flexible hose in a small space. The hose is durable, flexible, and fits all the standard 2 1/2 inch ports. Definitely an upgrade for me and what I do.

I bought this 20' hose to use in my large (800 sf) woodshop. 20' is a lot of hose to have laying on the floor, but if you have a setup where you can easily hang it out of the way when not in use then it's really handy for reaching pretty much anywhere. Seems to be pretty good quality.

This hose is surprisingly strong and stretchy, just as the manufacturer claims. It also has a certain grippy quality to it, which helps it remain secured to fittings (which is almost sufficient to the point that you might be tempted to forgo hose clamps). I really like that it's clear, because with the black vacuum hose I had been using for dust collection previously, if something got stuck in the hose, it was always a bit of a mystery as to what and where the problem was. With this clear hose, there is no more mystery. I will be buying more of this hose as I add more woodworking tools to my arsenal.

I was very happy to see it fits over 2" pvc perfectly (the pvc advertised as 2" pvc, though its OD is larger than 2"). A snug, but not too-snug-to-fit fit. Haven't used it yet but looks and feels like quality materials.
