The UK 'sound of Philadelphia'
The Three Degrees were a sublime trio, underrated in the UK due in part to their 'Royal connection'. By the time of their Philadelphia heyday they had been recording for nearly a decade with little success; they needed misters Gamble and Huff, the Philly Soul sheen and exposure on every conceivable TV and radio show (Seaside Special???) to make it here but for one short halcyon period they (not the O'Jays, Lou, MFSB, HM&BN or Teddy) were THE sound of Philadelphia. Great memories, great tunes, great price!

Superb voices
I consider thier hits to be limited in that theres not loads of them (they were no Supremes) in this respect. However, thats a little harsh becasue the singing is A1 and Fergusons best asset is .................. her melodic voice of course (what else) ;)
