Parragon Book Service Ltd Mini Tin Mini Monsters

I love love LOVE these. They come in a very thin tin that I can easily keep in my purse. Any time we are in any waiting room, I pull these out and every kid in the room makes their way to us. I have a 3 year old and 8 year old and it keeps them both happy and entertained for at least an hour. They are just pieces of paper with monsters on them, but you fold them in half and they stand up by themselves. So the kids can play all kinds of games with them. And they are cheap, so I don't mind handing one or two monsters to other kids in the area to help their parents out too. I'm the hero every time. ;) They are also a great way to stop the backseat fighting in the car. They can get their anger and frustration out by acting like "monsters".

This was one of my worst purchases ever. I bought two of these (Mini Monsters and Pop Up Animals) as a gift for a little boy and I was appalled when he opened it. He threw it away within a couple of minutes ad I don't blame him.First, the colors are very dull. Then comes the paper quality - surely a fold and make design should come in stiff paper. But these have been designed on flimsy ordinary paper and they're not going to stand even if you prop them up!

I give these to a student that needs a little extra incentive. He loves them. We are on our second pack
