amazing with it’s available app
This is my first time using this and the app and kit works perfectly. I was nervous about the finger tester but it’s not that bad. I started at 3 and found out 5 is the best for my fingers. My fingers are a little sore only because I was recently diagnosed with diabetes but apparently my new doctor has found evidence in my medical records that show it started as early as 2017 so I was doing a lot of testing throughout the day to track the effectiveness of my medication. A CGM would probably be better but I’m retired and living in the Philippines now so some products like CGM’s aren’t available to ship to me so this is the next best thing.

Worth the money
This product is amazing. I love it! I showed my friend at work how awesome it was and she bought one for her and husband. I am not diabetic, I'm just watching my glucose levels for learning how food impacts me; the same for my friend and her husband. They're monitoring glucose for health benefits. It has been wonderful to see how fast it logs your blood with just a small price on your finger. I love that it synchs right to my phone. This information also synchs into my health app on my android as well, so it just pulls it to the the other app automatically.

Affordable price for STRIPS only … TY
We been using this for a year now, we like it coz we can easily monitor our numbers…it’s getting expensive for 2person using 1-2-3x a day. Is there a way we can only buy the Strips alone, coz we have a lot of Lancet. We sometimes buy the whole set is somewhat cheaper than buying the lancet+strips which we normally get the 100 cts. If you can sell Strips separately at affordable price that would be awesome… I have to wait for limited deals which we can only purchase one time.

So much more easier to use
This system was so much easier to use than all the others. I love that I just connect to a USB and charge. I never get a false reading indicator (E2) like I did on other readers. You keep your finger on the plastic reader until it counts down from 5 and gives you accurate results. Just make sure you swab your finger well. I got an extremely high reading because of the possibility of lotion on my finger. When I swabbed two fingers well to confirm, the readings on two fingers were very close and a more correct reading.

My first (and second) Glucometers and I love them
This is the first and second Glucometer I have purchased and used on myself. Not my first one I have used and not my first one to buy stuff for. Honestly I have used or been around 50% of the big name brand insurance provided, drugstore sourced or doctor recommended ones available in the last few decades and knowing this day was coming I have had my eye on these compact user friendly inexpensive smart monitors for a few years. Fast forward to needing one and I bought one of these on a steal of a sale confirmed I needed it and talked with my health care professional and he approved of it so when it was on sale again I bought a second.Honestly it was as cheap to get a second than order a refill and so far the refills are cheaper and easier to get than the ones for other family members. Its super easy to use and compact, the supplies are great, the lance works fine and is easily adjustable, and the charge life on the meter is good. So much nicer than having fancy batteries or proprietary chargers, or even regular AA or AAA batteries that you run out of since nothing uses them. Numbers match meter to meter over the 2 I have and match what my labs show. Its not 100% the perfect solution, but super useful. If they made a slightly bigger slightly better carrying pouch I wouldn't complain (move the strap at the bottom towards the zipper side and I can fit the lance better and keep the little tube for the test strips in all the time) especially if they came up with a way to store some of the lancets in it other than a zip lock baggie in the stretchy pouch or buying a separate container. I love the USB charging, but it would be 11% better if it was USB-C because nearly everything else I have is. The app was a pain to pair with the first meter at first and I don't know why I did everything in the instructions but when I tried again 2 days later it worked flawlessly and so did the second meter. It would be nice to be able to track your own labels like "In the middle of breakfast" or "after taking my xyz" and if it had an easy to use food log, or optional configurable reminders to pop up a notification 2 hrs later to take the "after breakfast" reading but that's asking a lot for this price. If your on the fence just buy one, its compact easy to use and has memory and a simple display on the device so if you are busy and not able to link it you can just take your readings and record them later.

A little complicated to figure out, but works really well.
There are a number of steps to go thru in order to take one blood sample. That is probably unavoidable, and most people should be able to figure it out. Once you understand it, the results are great an accurate. However, I could not get the results to display on the monitor device, but with the device connected to the iHealth phone app, I do get almost immediate results. The phone app will also keep track of every individual measurement you take and will give you an average for a week, month or for entire time used.I bought a glucose control solution from another supplier, which you use a drop of to obtain a test glucose reading. This allowed me to test the accuracy of the iHealth device. The control solution is fixed and controlled to a glucose level of 70, and my iHealth monitor correctly read that level from a drop of the control solution on three different times.
