Costa Fathom Cord, Costa Blue, 28in

Put this strap on Costa Blackfins with glass lenses...the "rubber" strap ends got warm in the sun and stretched out. My Blackfins were around my neck so I didn't notice that they slipped out. They ended up on the ground with a broken lens by the time I realized they were missing. Costa's "warranty" didn't cover it...Costa found "rubber degradation" on the glasses which they "covered" for $11.95 (which they also charged just to LOOK at the glasses) which they admit may have contributed to the slippage. However, Costa didn't cover any of the lens replacement cost. We used to be a Costa family but after thus we will NEVER spend another dime with Costa. Lousy company with lousy "warranty."

I bought this to secure my sunglasses while horseback riding. As other reviewers have noted, the part that attaches to your glasses is "librarian style," going over the arms of the glasses rather than plugging into the ends of the arms. Which means you have cord hanging down in front of your ears, which made them not ideal for wearing with a riding helmet (the cord and the helmet's chin strap get in the way of each other). So they don't work for what I bought them for, but they do work for making sure you won't lose your glasses, and it's easy to have your glasses hanging around your neck when you don't need them on your face. The adjustable slider is a good feature, it should ensure these fit any size head and neck.

They work great. Only issue is that ends don't slip on to the frame. The frame ends slide through a slot on the black rubber ends so they tend to hang and get in the way sometimes. Not a big issue though.

I have tried many styles and brands of this type of product, and because this particular brand is so great, I now own about 10 of these...just in case I need another one, I have them available. The slider holds them (and your specs) as tight as you need it to. The rubber parts that go over the sunglasses arms have not come loose at all, and my first purchase was over 2 years ago and has been exposed to sun and salt water many times over. I think they are great quality.

Perfect. They have rubber receptacles that fit around the arms, not just the ends. Look cool and the adjuster in the back helps set how far they hang. They would work with prrtty much any shades.

I like everything about it other than they way it secures to the ear piece. If you wear any kind of headphones which I do for exercise and at work it squeezes the plastic piece to your head and starts to ache after a while. If you’re not a person that wears headphones then this is a great product! It has a pretty good length for people who want their glasses to hang lower, but also adjustable if you want shorter.

What I do not like about this are the little rubber pieces that attach to the sunglasses. They get caught in my hair and pull it. If it wasn’t for the material on that one part, they would be great.

They like you to write this review when you just receive it if they would give you a week or two so you could actually see how you like the product that would be more worthwhile to the people out there I do not read reviews anymore because of this reason but let's just say it arrived on time and is definitely what I ordered

Disappointed. I have other Costa Del Mar strings that slip over the arms of my glasses. That’s what I thought I was ordering but the pictures weren’t clear enough and instead these have holes in the string that go over the arms, and the CDM strings constantly fall off. Useless to me for these glasses as there is no bump at the end of the arm to hold them on
