This product was in my price range so I read a lot of reviews. Despite some negativity I ordered the product to judge for myself. I also wanted to wash and sleep on the product before entering a review.The sheets arrived in well packaged condition, new and undamaged. The envelope-closure pillow cases are actually queen size (20in x 30in), not 'standard/queen' like many brands. Despite the supposed '500CT' thread count, the weave is open and the fabric thin. Also, the fabric is '100% cotton' so I fully expected wrinkling. Color is true (burgundy is not pink, red, maroon or purple).The description indicates deep pocket "up to 18 inches". As evidenced by the following photos, the gusset seam is right at 15 inches. My mattress is a standard queen size pillow top with a thin protector and 1" padded cover; so total depth is about 16 inches. The all-round elastic is double stitched and fits snuggly, with a bit showing along the length of the mattress so to just cover the mattress without slipping. The flat top sheet adequately covers the top of my bed with plenty of length to tuck about 8 inches at the foot of the bed. The fold down border is nicely finished although the reverse is a bit rough. As long as it doesn't unravel, I'm fine with what's on reverse. I did iron the top border for a crisp look.I did a quick vinegar rinse to set the color and tumble dry (per instructions). The sheets are cut and blocked so well that all corners meet exactly when folded with no 'rolling' edge seams. Fitted sheet nestles neatly and folds down nicely.A number of reviews mentioned the sheets being "scratchy" or "rough" to the feel. I did find that, after washing (I don't use softeners in my machines), the fabric has a mild rustle texture to it. Because of the open weave and cotton content, I believe no amount of softener will change this. In my experience, too much softener coats the fibers and actually makes the material stiff. I do not have sensitive skin so this is not a concern for me thus I've decided to keep the product. If one wants smooth, soft, wrinkle free sheets, I recommend thread count above 600 and cotton/poly blend or percale. Conditionally recommended.

I laundered in warm water on gentle to get an unexpected order out. Then dried on cotton as instructed, until just dry, 30 min in this case and they were dry when the timer went off. Having dried for less time the wrinkles were not as bad as expected. But 100% cotton wrinkles, so I didn’t expect otherwise. Very nice feel out of the dryer.The pillow cases have a French envelope /sham type hem with a generous 6” pocket and the satin piping trim on the front side.The fitted sheet has a nice tight fit, now, with a generous elastic……this will be the test for me. I’m hopeful the elastic holds up as long as the sheets do. The top sheet has the satiny piping on both sides so up or down works for the fold over.Thickness for 500TC is as expected. Remember the higher the thread count the warmer the sheets are. This should soften with every wash and be perfect year round in S. CA.

I love these sheets. They last a long time. They have a great thickness in terms of durability and they make it easy to make the bed. I have a sleep number split king and have a heck of a time finding sheets less expensive than the sleep number ones until I found these. These are my new favorite. The only thing I can think of to add, is the straps that go across the corners for those of us who need a bit more firm hold at the corners to keep the sheets from riding up on the sides. LOVE THEM!!

I’m pretty picky about my sheets and have never purchased, for my, bed online. I was looking for either percale or sateen weave as those are my go to favs. I found these online while I was ordering a new split king adjustable bed and wanted everything here when the bed arrived so I could use the bed the night it arrived. I was happy with the smooth feel and weight of the sheets. Straight out of the package they smelled so I washed them before putting on the bed. They washed well but I was a bit concerned because they were wrinkly straight from the dryer. I went ahead and put them on the bed bc I didn’t have time to iron them. I’m so glad I did bc the wrinkles smoothed right out as I placed the sheets on the bed and put pillows in the pillow cases. I’ve slept on them two nights now and really like the weight and smoothness of the sheets. If you’re on the fence, I would buy them again and I am very picky about my sheets.

I have been buying this style damask sheet under the Fieldcrest brand in the past and always loved it. Couldn't find Fieldcrest any longer, though I had searched far and wide. This one popped up on my most recent search and was elated when they came in and found it is just like the ones I have always used. They are comfortable, well made and a great finish. Love that they have really deep pockets, great elastic edging and have marked the sides and bottom/top with a tag that lets you know you're getting the sheets on the bed in the right direction. King size bed linens can be deceiving due to very little difference between length and width measurements. Saves time. Have already ordered more and will be doing it again!

I used to ALWAYS buy Pure Beech Sateen from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They eventually stopped making them and I've been looking for a decent set of sheets ever since then. These are not them, but they're close enough that I'd buy another set. They're soft and breathe very well which is important as I'm convinced my wife is a nuclear heater, and they don't pull off in the corners.Time is the ultimate test of durability, but so far they've been through a few washes and the stitching still looks great as other sets we've tired already show the stitching starting to separate after a few washes.

I had bought another set of these sheets and chose these again because of the double elastic fitted corners. They are so much easier to put on and they stay put. They feel very luxurious. The only negative that colours are not as pictured. The soft blue ones I ordered are grey and the beige ones I ordered are yellowish.

Look good, feel pretty quality

I like that I don’t have to stretch this to the ripping point in order to put the fitted sheet on the bed. I am fussy about my sheets and these are very comfortable. I don’t get antsy with the wrinkles like other sheets. I recommend
