The Silent Haircutting Kit for Children with Autism and Sensory Sensitivity, Right-Handed.
I bought this kit for my son, and it has been a game-changer! He has always been very sensitive to noise, so traditional haircuts would be a stressful experience for both of us. This silent haircutting kit is quiet, easy to use, and designed with children who have sensory sensitivities in mind. The ergonomic design for right-handed use makes it comfortable to hold, and my son actually tolerated the haircut without the usual anxiety or meltdowns. The kit also comes with all the necessary tools, so I didn’t have to buy anything extra. Overall, this kit made haircutting at home a calm and positive experience. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a stress-free solution for their child with autism or sensory challenges.

These are amazing!! ASD kiddo approved.
I have a kiddo on the spectrum that also has sensory issues. Hair cuts were a thing that happened once a year or once every 18 months because we had to physically restrain him. It was awful for him, for us, and for any neighbors with their windows open while we cut his hair. We cut his hair with these clippers yesterday in 10 minutes flat. No screaming. No restraining him. Minimal fuss. And he looks adorable. There are a ton of different length guards in the bag so we were able to give him a nice even haircut without getting too close to his scalp. I cannot recommend this enough for kiddos who loathe clippers and haircuts!

Best kit ever!
I love this product. It gave my son the first positive haircut experience he has had in 3 years! Over two days, we were able to finish a whole haircut with some breaks in between when he got overwhelmed. It went so well! I would definitely recommend buying this product. The clippers are very quiet. The scissors cut well.

finiky twin, money back guarantee, takes longer but happier kids.
my twin boys are just under 2 years old. One of them is very sensative about things near his head, ears, face and will swat and hit me and yell no no go away while myself, or salon tries to cut his hair. I was looking for trimmers that would be easier and faster and came across these online. on a whim, i ordered them. they arrived faster then they said. I am not a stylist by any means but i have been trying to cut my 4 year old daughter, 13 year old son and twins hair for the last couple years as it is so expensive these days! I sat my less picky twin down and tried these clippers out. immediatly he didnt want the apron on. so i set it aside and sprayed his hair with water and began to cut away. He isn't too fond of the sound an electric razon makes so these less evasive sounding cutters seemed to keep him calm. i had him sitting in his highchair with some board books and goldfish. i am sure he ate plenty of his own hair, but i was able to trim his hair a bit before he ran out of patience. I decided to cut his first to show other brother that it is safe. I got my next twin in his highchair and had him play a toddler game on my tablet as it has noise and would distract him while my 4 year old helped play the game with him. He accepted the apron nicely, to my suprise! I started to spray his hair and he wasnt having it! He began screaming at me no no no go away and so i started to just comb his hair while he played. i realized that the calming clippers have the "comb" size on them and thus i can use it as a COMB...so i would alternate, pretending to comb his hair with a comb, and then switch when his hand was down and quickly snip. pretend to comb...wait....switch, comb, snip. it was a bit choppy as i am no stylist. I wasnt pleased with how he looked at the end, but at least the hair wasnt in his eyes and i was able to on occasion grab the reg scissors and get some around his ears as well as the calming clippers were not in my reach to switch out the sizes when you are in a hurry i didnt have time to switch between sizes so i just went with one size the whole time. i have used it a second time since and watched videos on how to use it and how to cut hair in general. He was much calmer the second time, but still knew i was trying to trick him. however, the second time looked a bit better. still choppy, but i blame myself not the clippers. I did talk to the inventor and they are trying to work on more videos of how to. I am sure if we as customrs post videos, it will also be helpful. if i ever get good enough to make one, i will certainly try!! i was not completely satisfied and they returned my money and are letting me keep the clippers. i am truely very greatful for this! I will attempt a few more times and if it doesnt work out, i can pass them on to a few families i know who have children that probably need these more than myself. i am super greatful for the refund and hope that it is just my lack of knowlege and that it will get less choppy over time. in the meantime, my twins can at least see!! my favorite thing is that the comb is attatched so my twin thinks i am just combing his hair until last minutes when i snip. that right there alone, makes it much more easier. i would recommend these because if you don't like them they do have a 100% guarantee money back. so you don't have anything to loose! i hesitated myself because of the price, but honestly...after the last 2 times i have basically spent the same as i would have if id gone to the salon for all my kids. yes, i have tried them on my daughter who has banks. she enjoys them as its a quick comb and snip and it looks great! no, my finiky twin is not autistic, so i can't begin to know if it will help anyone who has a child with autisim. again, if these don't work for me, i do have two families i know that do have autistic children and i will be handing them off to them. i will update if this happens :)

A lifesaver for my autistic kiddos!
My sons will not allow anyone but me near their hair, and despite YouTube tutorials I haven't been able to master haircuts with traditional shears. Then I found these on Amazon and was excited to try them! It comes with an instructional booklet, a storage case, a cleaning brush, and some hard plastic cards to keep the guards neat and organized. I thought that was a nice touch! It did take some trial and error to figure out the correct way to hold and angle the clippers. I almost thought I accidentally ordered a pair of left handed scissors, lol. Due to the nature of the design, it's difficult to manuver them around the front and left side (the opposite side of my dominant hand), so you will have to move with the scissors - you can't stand behind them to do all the cutting like you would with regular shears. The images in the instructions were very helpful though! You want to go slow when cutting off the length. If you try to do the quick snips right off the bat, you will pull their hair. Follow the instructions by cutting pieces of the length off before you do the quick snips to even everything out. Taking your time is super important. My sons don't like the cape, but that is their personal preference rather than anything being wrong with it. This product comes with AMAZING customer service!! Their clippers have a lifetime guarantee. One of the guards broke as I tried to put it on the clippers - I believe it was a manufacturing error, since it didn't seem to fit properly and I didn't have that problem with the rest of the guards. I contacted customer service to ask about a replacement. I received a response before the end of the day, and they sent me one free of charge as well as a complimentary pair of safety scissors! Overall, for the price this product is WELL worth my sanity and my boys' comfort. It's an amazing invention & you won't regret buying it!!

These work surprisingly well
My goodness, where have these been for the last decade of my life? Easiest, most even haircut my son has ever had. And now if the apocalypse comes and we have no power for our electric clipper, I can still give my husband a beautiful haircut as well...
