Connected to the tv. As another reviewer said you cannot view the images on the camera at the same time as I could with the Olympus, but this is not mandatory. I used it successfully for Powershot SX600HS, which was not mentioned as definitely compatible.

Does what it is supposed to!
Cable allows camera to connect to the TV to view photos. Unlike my own camera/cable combination, when viewing using my wife's camera, the picture on the camera screen can't be seen - not a problem, though, as the pictures are on the TV.

写真をTVの大画面で見る
カメラに付属していたのが行方不明に成ったので，同じものを購入した。写真や動画はPCの小画面で見るより，やはりTVの大画面で見る方が迫力がある。家族全員で見るにも，PCよりTVの方が適している。

Funktioniert, mehr hab ich zu einem Kabel eigentlich nicht zu sagen. OK es hat keine Goldkontakte und keine Hitech Abschirmung, die braucht man aber auch nicht wenn man Fotos direkt am TV ansehen möchte.
