Fantastic price and heats up quickly. The heat is comfortable too. I used it for when I had a kidney stone recently and it was very effective. I also suffer from long standing back pain and it helps reduce it. It is of good quality and works out a lot cheaper than using those stick on heat pads.

It definitely self heats and compares well to the disposal one. It just takes a little extra time to warm up. It gets even hotter if you sweat. But you get no extra support from this, the fabric is quite stiff and if you have it next to your skin, like you're suppose to, the velcro digs in a bit and scratches. I bought the XL and am a size 18, wouldn't get away with any smaller and if you're any bigger, it won't fit comfortably. I wore with trousers but any dresses/skirts or thin materials you would see you're wearing something underneath.

Not suitable for Ankylosing spondylitis or any condition where the lower spine is fused or damaged. I bought this purely because the reviews were very good and I liked the idea of a self heating back support. Firstly, my belt creates hardly any heat at all which was a disappointment and secondly the design of the belt creates a lot of restriction when it comes to movement which is not ideal. Holding the lower back in one position forces the spine into an unnatural position which worsens pain. Thankfully the belt was cheap and didn’t cause me as much financial pain as it did back pain.

So I have bought a spare. So many don’t stay in place or rip open at slightest move . Supports well and good value

Forget the actual sizes printed, I'm a 48 inch waist and the xl was the size for me as it states its for 44-51. Rubbish, after a bit of pushing and pulling this support is around 12inch too short, the printed size neads to be amended. Waste of money
